Having a cold beer after a long day at work. Love it! I'm on the East Coast and two of the larger casino's no longer offer a buffet after covid. I'm bummed I would double down and win at the buffet. LOL

I really like the video set up of you two eating together!!! No worries about the ketchup, we all know food is just a vehicle to get all the ketchup in our mouths. Some people are just too embarrassed to admit that. They'll come around eventually.

The only time I would be excited by an omelette station is if they had hot capicollo, sun-dried tomatoes and smoked provolone cheese. I have never found an omelette station that made me excited. I agree with you about pre-carved meats at the carving station, I like directing them to give me the perfect slice. But any carving station with good brisket is alright with me. One thing I noticed was the mashed potatoes looked like they were made from powder and the bacon looks like it was cooked in a factory and finished in a microwave (I worked in a place that did bacon like that). It was an inexpensive buffet though and looked like it was good value for the money in 2023 and that's rare these days.

Hey! Just got back from Vegas this morning, and wished I coulda met up with you two at a buffet somewhere, though I really can't eat enough to justify them after bariatric. BUT, I did go to that $18.95 Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, and eeehhm... even with my stomach the way it was and trying to focus just on crab legs, I was getting hungrier the longer I was there. They refilled the one pan of pencil-thin crab legs once in the almost 90 minutes I was there, and literally everyone was ignoring the sign that said "Please share, 6 crab legs per person". They had some decent other offerings, though. Time to watch this video!

I spit out my dring when you went "ech' to the beets. I like beets, but I get it, I really do. I havne't finished the video yet, but the salad bar reminds me of when I worked at Showbiz Pizza in high school (Like Chuck E Cheese) and we just dumped stuff fromcan) I guess thi would be OK if you happned to be staying there for breakfast or you were just needing some fuel for the slots. Was the Westgate about a month ago on a Thursday when my work had a conference (about 850 ppl). Some of us went to this buffet abou12:30. No line, and the place was almost empty. I was not very impressed with the quality of the food. Brisket was dry, breakfast eggs and meat were bland and tasteless. Salad bar and desserts were fine. I think they had soups too but I didn't have any. Not a great value but if you want to eat a lot and don't want to wait in a long line, it works.
