OLD SCHOOL FRIED CATFISH WITH OLD SCHOOL HUSH PUPPIES AND TARTAR SAUCE( RECORDED ON FACEBOOK LIVE)

This is a simple delicious recipe for crispy fried catfish with creamy lemony tartar sauce
RECIPE
Season catfish with salt and pepper
Coat with your favorite breading
Fry until golden brown and crispy
Serve with old school tartar sauce
TARTAR SAUCE RECIPE
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet relish
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Mix all ingredients together and enjoy
HUSH PUPPIES RECIPE
1/2 cup flour
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 egg
1 tablespoon diced onions
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cups whole milk
Mix all ingredients together n bowl
Let rest for 15 minutes
Scoop and fry in 350 degree oil until golden brown
