I enjoyed seeing the State Fair through your eyes. I lived in Arlington TX from 1980 to 1990. Raised my son's there. City has grown much since then. We never went to state fairs back then between my husband and myself we were working all kinds of hours and just didn't spend time going anywhere else but work and home. Wish I had gone.

Great video! My favorites are the beautiful carousel ride, funnel cakes, the German Tent with authentic foods, the African acrobats, and the Marine Band show at 4:00 pm.

My hubby and I snuck off the the fair yesterday while the children were at school 🤫 We had a wonderful time! We’ll need a bankroll 💵 when we bring our kids. It’s fun but super EXPENSIVE!!

State fair, county fair , any kind of fair, I like them all. As a native of Texas, yesI can attest to the fact they fry everything at these fairs. I don’t go to the entertainment part however they have great named folks. However I always end up buying stuff & I like the home canned foods, honey etc, candy. Anyway, enjoy chef. I’m there in spirit.

I believe Chef Jeff said he live in Arlington as well as Katy, Texas. He’s in the Dallas area working on a foundation which is in honor of his beautiful mom. I hope to be one of the foundations volunteers. 😊

Thank you for this, Chef! I used to go every year in the 50s. The Midway was a must see at night with all the colorful lights. Mother had to have a Fletcher's corny dog. I was impressed by the cleanliness in your video.

We don't have events like that here in Philly. Next year, I may bring my family to the state fair. I know they'll enjoy it, especially the food. Lol
