Lay the engine on the ground on its side and lower the frame over the top. Welcome to old bike restoration! Really enjoying all the videos, thanks.

It's all good fun!! You have to make bad choices to appreciate the good ones! Should have done a Collab with Jim @SuperbikeSurgeryTV but the combined OCD might be too much for the internet to handle!

I have a modern bike but love my 80's one too, easy to work on, no ECU or electronic sensors to fail, it's MOT exempt and road tax is free.

I’m only five minutes into your video and I’m loving the humour in it already. I’ve liked and subscribed because I reckon I’m going to enjoy watching any other builds you may have videoed. Keep up the good work chaps.

Nice to see you working on a proper bike like the suziki 750 et makes a lovely change a easier than working on a BSB bike for you not as technical as your usual bike work should look really good when done

Can you tell what it is yet? Look forward to seeing the progress! On the plus side no job can be considered done properly unless you have some bits left over.

Try Amersil GS5 Gasket stripper for removing paint. Assuming the formula is still the same it's like acid and you must wear gloves with it. The stuff will strip powder coat!

Funny to think that engine is the same capacity as a modern Hornet or NC. Back then a 750 was a proper big engine. Nowadays it’s a midrange, despite the Hornet engine probably being more powerful.

Before you were born sonny. Not nearly as strong as the 1100s bottom end. Robinsons on speed dial Rob/Dave? Bodywork, clocks awkward oh and the reg/rectf. Not understanding the function of that engine mount pear shaped 'nut' on 4 cyl Suzukis, has led to quite a few crankcase 'repairs' over the years.....
