Spiderman (or Spider-Man, I knowwww) is a PS4 exclusive title released in 2018 and made by Insomniac games - the same team behind the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy and original Ratchet and Clank series. When it comes to cartoony comic book-styled butt-kicking adventures, Insomniac are definitely the ones to trust, clearly. Going into this review though, Caddy wasn't sure how Spiderman (OR SPIDER-MAN MY GOD) on PS4 would pan out since it isn't based off of totally original ideas and characters - there have been past Spidey games both loved and hated by the community, including Spider-Man 2 on PS2 in the love category - so whichever direction Insomniac would take could make the final product either too similar to the good ones, or not good at all - like The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Through a couple of glitches, hours of gameplay, bosses and villains galore and crimes stopped around every corner, however - this game turned out to be one of the best superhero games ever made, as far as Caddy is concerned, at least! Please enjoy his review and see if you agree.
