PlayStation VR was released in late 2016 at a very high price. Nowadays, it’s gone down quite a lot - but does Caddy think it’s worth the new price in 2019? That’s what this PSVR review aims to find out today - with all of the PSVR gameplay you see here being recorded straight from the PS4 Pro itself (sorry for the lower frame rate and quality, couldn’t get it any better), along with a PS Move review (more specifically a Move controller review), PS Aim Controller review - and more importantly, a big selection of PlayStation VR games to ease everyone into this new video series. In order of appearance, some of the PlayStation VR games you’ll see here are with a DOOM VFR review, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood review, The Inpatient review, PlayStation VR Worlds review (or PSVR Worlds review for short, depends how lazy you feel), Tetris Effect review, WipEout Omega Collection review, Resident Evil 7 review, Don’t Knock Twice review, Fruit Ninja VR review, Batman Arkham VR review, Moss review, Driveclub VR review, Farpoint review, EVE Valkyrie review, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR review and The American Dream review. Also, I’m not going to be comparing difference from PS4 vs PS4 Pro for PSVR - because I’m unable to. But I do hear it’s not that crazy of a difference, so it’s all okay as far as I’m aware. Maybe the price has gone down because of the rumoured PSVR2? Who knows. PlayStation VR 2 sounds cool though. I’d also love to say this is an unboxing video but my boxes are firmly placed within my shelves and will not be able to be taken off without total office destruction, so meh, it’s an ‘out-boxing’ video.

Caddicarus I would say the Kingdom Hearts VR Experience, but when I tried to play it, nothing seemed to work for me, at least I think it’s not working. I would use the move controllers but they weren’t on screen at all, my tracking was working just fine, and when I squeezed the right one only, it would show the hand squeeze in the outline of the hand, but it didn’t exist, neither did the PS4 Controller. Idk, but I would like to see what you think about it!

Anyone who owns a PSVR should get Beat Saber. It's a fun game, with no motion sickness. You need, however, some free space and two move controllers for the best experience. But it's completely worth it.

13:43: Did you know that “Tetris: Effect” was made by the same company and game designer that made 3 other music and rhythm based games including the “Lumines” games, “REZ” and “Gunpey PSP”. All 3 of these games are also oriented around the rhythm of the music and have very immersive visuals. I recommend all 3, including “Gunpey PSP” as that one has sort of gone under the radar and is more of a hidden gem in dire need of a remaster like the other 2 games got.

1:13 Oculus Rift officially costs 350$, and Windows Mixed Reality Headsets, like the Lenovo Explorer "only" cost 200 $. Motion Sickness will only be a problem at first, over time your brain will slowly get used to it, and you'll get your so-called "VR-Legs" and won't have any more problems with moving around while not actually moving.

Fruit Ninja VR is better with 2 swords and is good for VR Beginners. Moss and Tetris Effect I totally agree with you on that. You must play it for those two games. It is worth the price just for those two games alone. Batman VR yes does make you feel like Batman but I never could dump that much time in it to get good. You should do Beat Saber. I think you will have a fun time with it. Horror games I refuse to play.

Hey Caddy, just letting you know that sickness induced by VR is called Simulation Sickness not Motion Sickness. This is because motion sickness is caused by a dissonance in a person's sense of motion of themselves relative to their surroundings (e.g. their body thinks they're stationary despite being on a boat at sea), while simulation sickness is caused by a game's immersion tricking the brain into thinking you're moving or subject to other forces like inertia and that conflicting with your body believing you aren't being subjected to those forces. Interestingly having a history of motion sickness has little correlation to being likely to get simulation sickness suggesting the areas of the brain affected by these sicknesses is different.

You need to try Firewall Zero Hour man! It's an amazing VR fps that uses the aim controller to the best of it's ability. Just be aware that the online mode makes up the majority of the game

I could never do VR 'cause I have bad eyes and ears and already have permanent double vision because of it, lol, so I KNOW VR would make me puke instantly (I already can't handle any game in first person, makes me dizzy AF and want to be sick - third person only games for this girl, lol -- even watching Caddi play here made me nauseous, lol), so I'm really glad and think it's sweet that Caddi makes it clear that people like me aren't losers! lol. Thank you, Caddi! I'm glad others can have fun with VR, though! Good for them! lol. (And I've never played Skyrim ever, Caddi, so you're not alone! lol.) This had SO many hliarious moments! Loved it! Hope you do make more VR vids 'cause they're so funny!
