Welcome to video #49 of a shop that I assembled to demonstrate the way things were done in the early days of industry and innovation in the world. Like "parallel universes" countries discovered and borrowed ideas and techniques for building their industry and keeping it running, all with water, steam or animal power. Earlier videos explain the engines, boiler, and various machines in the shop. Thanks for visiting my shop where measurement is by steel rule, cutting edges are ground by hand, speed is slow, feed high, power transmitted by leather and some "feel" of machines is required.
