What beautiful stonework! ...and snowing! ❄️ I love hearing the cardinals! They are doing the same thing here. Of the old iron relics you found....I am still puzzled about the piece you thought might be part of a musical instrument? Oh man! An ax head is still on my bucket list as is a horse shoe. Maybe this will be my year! You are so brave to be in with the cows...I could ‘t do it. LOL! It’s great to see you wearing gloves! Dad would be happy. 😉 Whoever lost those keys...must have been bummed for a while. 😕

😃 Love the house and outbuilding, cistern and summer kitchen! Great stonework too. I hope someone who really appreciates the historical aspects can buy this property with an eye towards restoration. I know that takes a lot to do, but this plac is AWESOME! Too bad the relic hunt wasn't as successful as one might like. Ah, there's always next time. I wonder if the holes drilled into the rock are an indication there might be a CAVE system nearby??? 😸

You how what I love about you Chigg? The history lessons: Don't ever stop "talking too much". The fact that you show videos of what it's truly like metal detecting: For every 50 evil pull tabs, stinkin' Linkins, foil/pie plates, and nails (even if they're square) y'all find a nice artifact, and you show the truth of it. I could keep going on and on...your cave and kayaking videos! I bought a kayak last year, and a few days ago, upgraded to a Garrett AT 300. I also love walking through old houses, tobacco barns, and you explaining where foundations and privy's are. I've yet to find an oyster shell, but you've also taught me to put the detector down and look at the landscape. I live in a 100 year old farm house next to the battle of Lexington, Missouri. I've eyeballed pottery, glass, handmade clay marble and large arrowhead. I've also found a lead soldier! Thank you for what you do! My next venture is purchasing a fishing magnet. It's about springtime!
