That trucker is nuts. Last trip I made to the Dragon, my brother, a friend, and I BARELY made it out of one of the turns (@ 8:16 ) because of a trucker. You cannot see them until it's too late. When I say barely, this guy had crossed both lanes and my bar end mirrors barely cleared his trailer. I immediately started yelling at my brother thru our mics and asking if he and our friend made it thru. "Yeah...barely". I heard that if they get caught by the police/troopers, they get a huge fine for even taking the Dragon. Not sure if that's true, but that's what I heard.

Has to be posted as not a truck route with length and weight limitations for the roadway. Trucks should not be able to take that road. They would be unrecoverable if they went off. No way a heavy wrecker can get in there and position in a manner to salvage a rig. It will come out in pieces.

Love your videos on the Dragon. I’m heading up there on my XR in a few weeks. I’m hoping the weather is good. Have you ridden many other roads in that area? There are some fantastic roads that get much less traffic and for me are more enjoyable. I personally enjoy Blood Mountain more than the Dragon because of the sweeping corners as opposed to all the sharp turns on the Dragon. I love seeing you haul ass on the XR. Keep it up!

The weather this week is not ideal, a bit of rain and a bit of cold. I do bigger rides when I'm with a group, but I usually have limited riding time, so I shake off the cobwebs at the dragon.

Oh they're there, you just have to pick good days/times, and keep your eyes peeled. It's easy to get tunnel vision though. People get pulled over all the time.

Age didn't change me at all - busting my knee, and a valve simply slipping out of the tube, resulting in an instant total pressure loss during the first trip after that, with a "save" more with the same leg, that didn't go as bad, but was sore for months again - has made me doubt the toys.. Not much fun having that devil behind the ear when riding.. :/
