The funny thing is that I recall watching this at the time. 280bhp sounded astoundingly powerful. Now I listen to him say it and I think "Well... That's not actually all that much for a sports car...."

The most powerful model had a 5.0L NA V8 that produced 254kw & 475nm. The car was lighter than specified & came in at 1045kg. It allowed the car to do 0-60mph in 4.1sec, back in 1991 that was very fast. Faster than a Lamborghini Diablo.
