Took my maiden voyage yesterday and hit a submerged tree or branch with the drive and came to an instant stop. A few notes: *The boat moves pretty good on the water so I realized I don't need to go full speed. *This is my first kayak so I can't compare it to others but it's really nice and I feel safe on it. *Its easier to load/unload on my Toyota Highlander than it is storing it in my shed. *Tough to carry with the one handle. *As Gerard asked, I think the 106 would have been a better choice. *I'm 65 and out of shape and this morning my arms hurt really bad. *Def get a trolley cart. Thanks for the video!

I just bought one of these from someone. He had bought the Navarre Fishing Kayak hull plug, the floating prop nut and the upgraded rudder bolt. Also had a spare prop he gave me to go with it. Haven't had a chance to take it out on the water yet. Need to get a fish finder for it next.

Great review, thanks ! Did you consider the 106 PDL ? A bit lighter and shorter, but same kayak...I'm considering the 106PDL, because I have an SUV and need to 'rooftop' it....

Any idea how it compares to the Sportsman Salty 120 PDL?

I haven’t been in the Salty but I would assume the salty has little less primary stability, and is a lot faster.
