Wes, I'm so glad to see that you finally got rain. We're in southeast Texas and haven't experienced any rain in more than two months. Just glad to see that somebody is getting it. Looking forward to see the progress on the clover plot. Hope that all you get from the hurricane will be the rain. But I hope that the heavy stuff misses you. God bless you, brother.

That old Ford has a lot of life left in her. Her fuel leaks can and will be fixed. I hope you did or are planning to replace the fuel shutoff valve while you are chasing the other leaks. Then you can service filters etc without draining the tank. I still get the biggest kick out of your son! He’s going to be a good helper as he grows up. You’re doing a great job as a dad! 🥸👍👀✅

That slab of Bacon looked mighty good, bet it smelled even better. I had a similar problem with with my Ford Tractor fuel filter. Right before it quit it was puffing white smoke, I thought I had blown it up. Turns out it was just a clogged fuel filter, mine was only a single. My fuel cut off also didn't work so we also had to drain the tank. Messy but we got her going. Still going today, oldie but a goodie.

Yet another great video. It might not be what you were planning, but it's nice to actually see how things change due to life. Thanks for sharing. Sue looks good and healthy. She needs to stay that way to get them babies pooping out of her on the regular. Next year you'll have the savings of buying your pigs as well. Bringing your cider down even more. I hope that they're both good breeders and you get a lot of babies every season.

Wes my Dad has that same tractor - a couple things we have learned the hard way. The fuel shut off also has a filter on it in the bottom of the tank and yes ours broke and had to be replaced as well. That fuel lift pump has a manual lever on the side to help get the air out when changing filters. That same pump will be the next thing you have issues with, its a manual pump that works off of a cam on the injector pump, as that gets worn it will start to fail, leaving the tractor starving for fuel - don't bother replacing it with OEM just get an electric fuel pump and wire it to the switch, put a plate and gasket over the hole left where that pump mounts - needs to be around 6PSI . Then the last and most important note** do you change the injector pump oil? On most of these tractors the injector pump has its own oil, separate from the motor and needs changed when you change the engine oil. Hopefully this helps you out some. Love your videos, keep up the good work my friend.

Great timing on the food plot and the rain. That rain should make the clover jump now. And I think that "hurricane party" will turn out great as well Wes. It has my mouth watering just to think about that smokey bacon being already cooked and on a plate. 🥓😋

Hey Wes was going to ask about how things went with the Hurricane but seems you answered that. Hope that bacon turns out I can almost taste it. Nothing better than homegrown bacon or homegrown anything for that matter.
@livefreeordie19 ай бұрын
When I put out grains like wheat, rye and oats, I use the disk to turn them under. But with small seed like clover and turnips, I have a reinforcing wire drag I pull over the plot to settle things in. If clover is deeper than 1/4 inch or so, it won't make it out ofthe soil in my experience.

Wow, that was like 9 briquettes! 😉 Sure looked good! Nice job on both, the planting and the dining! IF you close down both vents it won't burn the remaining briquettes (I think, from memory! 😉). IF you separated them I'm sure they wouldn't. All the very best, Wes and crew!

I hope the Hurricane doesn't do any serious damage - I saw on the UK news it was heading towards Georgia. Good job with the filters on the Ford 3000 - sure you'll fix the leaks soon. Pigs looking good, and the Belly Pork looked delicious - curious to know how long you smoked it for, but I figure you'll tell us more in the next video. Stay safe & well - Dave. 👍👍

I have a 1969 Ford 3400. The filter design stinks. I have removed and retitghtened mine 3 times and it still slow drips. The shutoff on the bottom of of the tank is a pain also. It has a filter built into it.Make sure and get a Massey Ferguson one that is metal! Same as the Ford just metal. Don't use Teflon tape use the liquid sealant. Hope this help!

Just a quick tip Coat rubber seals with a light amount of grease This will help keep seals in place In early models there also should have been crush washers for the top head of the bolts that hold the filter assembly That engine sounds great

I really enjoy your videos. Keeping up with the family and homestead. The diverse projects you come up with - real life! One thing confuses me. I noticed your comments about the purity of ingredients in the rub when you smoked the bacon. Good for you! I've been called a granola head since the 70s so that tells a little of who I like to be. But then you use Roundup on the fields. Purity, Roundup. Seems a bit of an oxymoron of terms from what I can see. No disrespect meant, please trust me on that. Maybe, and probably, you have a great explanation? Btw. Luck with that fuel leak!

I am not a tractor guy, I don`t know if those are water seperators or just duel fuel filters, but its apparent those O rings are not quite sealing, they can`t be overtightened or they just crush and destroy the seal. I see you slide on the top, then O ring, put on the filter, then O ring, and tighten the nut, is the tube that runs down hollow, so you could adapt petcocks on the bottom, and just open them up from time to time to flush out the dirt, just curious. Love the videos, they are entertaining. I hope the smoked bacon works for you, I know it`s a colder smoke, so you don`t just cook it with heat, I do a lot of salmon, the brine cures the product, while the slow and low smoke finishes the process, everything that is smoked has a finish temp, when it is done, I like my salmon at 140 F, perfect moistness, perfect flakeiness, I wrap and refridgerate over night so it sets, it never last long at our house, I am new as well, I have only been smoking for a couple years now.

Fresh Side is what they call the meat call back home since is not bacon yet!!! Fresh Side is great in many bean dishes or casseroles etc. as it has the flavor most people desire for them!!!! Many people start a dish by cooking a chunk... Chili, bake beans, Boston Beef Roast, Oven Cooked Turkey, do not know why just seen it done when I was young man!!!!! I guess it is like using butter for some!!!!!

dunt... dunt... dunt... Suspense things never go the way we plan it but hey people who think on their feet don't look at the feet they look if I could accomplish this all accomplished something else but in the meantime what I wanted to do now will get done the great saying don't put off today what you can do tomorrow but today's project made room for what you wanting to do yesterday and now the days open for that project when today's project fails us it teaches us what we didn't know and helps us be prepared the next time that same project comes up or be enlightened on what to expect when you hit that project again do nothing is a failure if you choose to learn from a mist endeavor

How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. How to know if you're guilty or not? Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible. Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police. Do not lie. Do not steal. Do not commit adultery. Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word. There are six more but let's just leave it at that. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman. How many times a day do you do that? Do you use God's name as a cuss word? Would you do that with your own mother's name? If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty. God can justly punish you and send you to hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die." That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you. ❤ *Honest questions are welcome.*❤
