@@drummerchappell He's always had red bikes, it was a thing of his, they were also always BMW's. He started with a GS1100 I believe, then had a couple GS1150's, and his last bike was a GS1200 if i'm not mistaken. So since mid 90's since he started seriously riding he has owned several. Which one really doesn't matter, it would be just as cool as any other! He was known for selling his higher mileage bikes to crew members around the time he would buy a new one.

A little story I want to add: my dad was living in St Catharines back in the 70s and, when Neil left St Catharines to join Rush in Toronto, my dad played a farewell concert for him that someone organized. Agreed. I liked the way Neil’s Snakes and Arrows kit sounded but if I had the $$ I still wouldn’t go out and buy them. I didn’t care for the sound of ANY of his DW kits but his red sparkle kit was the absolute worst imo. Just plain horrible and those coated Ambassadors made them sound even worse!!

Damn. That’s really awesome. Some of those drums you can’t even put a price tag on but there’s probably at least $50K (if not more) worth of just snare drums alone. How on earth did you get your hands on such memorabilia? I mean the Time Machine snare with the out of alignment logos; not even the most diehard Neil Peart fans ever knew that existed so how on earth did you find out about it OR position yourself to be able to get those rarities? You don’t just have one or 2 rare Neil Peart items………you’ve got them ALL!! lol. It’s great that you have the income to be able to afford all of those things 👍👍 because you’re definitely doing it right!

After his death Alex and Geddy have publicly said rush is over and while they may play in the future on different projects they would never walk on a stage as rush without neil. About the collection above you have much more than 50k there at a glance at reverb shows the time machine going for over 100k

@@nocomment3600 yeah the Time Machine kit was going for $100K. I’ve got 4 of the Icon snares and they were on average $1,600 apiece. Snakes & Arrows, r40, T4E/Vapor Trails and Time Machine snare with the actual cogs. A few of those drums weren’t even sold to the general public so there’s no telling how much he paid for those things. Honestly I’d say $60-$70K.

There was no edge with black finish done in chrome hardware sanctioned by Neil Peart or DW. There are lots of “Frankenstein” snares created by fans that are not “official”. This collection is the “official” released snares by DW of Neil Peart replicas - approved and sanctioned by Neil.

Where are the Tama snares? Where are the Ludwig?” This isn’t a collection of every drum Neil ever played. I clearly state it’s a collection of all the snares he designed and were created for RUSH specificity. All of which were DW. This is the full set of all the officially released NP drums. The Yamaha is not one of them, nor is “old faithful” or any of the Ludwig’s or Tama.
