I’m amazed at the amount of time you spend on each window. You do such a thorough job it’s obvious that all that effort pays off with a beautiful end result.

Every one of these old windows is so pretty! You guys did a beautiful job on them. What a blessing to have both the cameo and the silhouette machines. So happy for you! The three paned windows is what was in a bungalow we redid. It was built in 1920. The windows were so drafty, but way too beautiful to replace. I love everything old! I was so happy you had 10 windows to redo for us. There’s a smile on my face throughout your videos, but I must confess, when I see Squirt my smile gets even bigger. Love that boy so much.

I'm glad I found your channel. As many times as I've gone through antique malls I mean real 50 to 100 year old items being sold, I see Windows all the time and wonder why in the world are you selling Windows. Well, they're decorative they can also be used as Windows in old old houses. My house is 100 years old and I have three Cathedral windows and never thought that I could pull them out one day and just use it as a decoration during warm weather of course. You have the best videos and ideas that go along with them

Hi Yvonne, lovely job. To do a long or wide words on Cricut, just turn the word by 90 degrees - it will then print it longways. I also use the white backing paper to help with long vinyl words... Wonderful inspiration! More than one idea! Love the metal star! Squirt approves too! Always amazed at your prodigious scale of work you do. Impressive. (go look that word up) I had to to ensure I spelt it right. LOL...

Just fabulous! The pallet wood is a perfect look in those with a little white dry brush paint. They just pop !! Your wording on them I adore! The “Silo Fields”.... I would never come up with great names like that! GRAND VIDEO......EXCELLENT WORK !! I was so excited when you said you were doing “””10””” windows in this video 😁❤️❤️😁 Big hug to you crafty lady 🧡🧡🍁🍁🧡🧡

Aww.. thank you Jayne. I love when I know someone loves old windows like us. Those 3 paned were quite a find. And if I didn’t already have a set of nine pane in my decor I would be using them. As for the words I just get inspired by Pinterest and Instagram when I come across vintage signage. And I’m very quick to save those inspiration for later use. Thank you for always watching and your continuous support. By the way I was watching Jamie and Zeb the other day and heard Zeb say” Jayne wonder if that would be a lot to ship to New York” or something to that effect. It was about one of there furniture pieces. And I thought is that you Jayne? Or just a coincidence🤗💝
@jaynebrown6934 жыл бұрын
GingerChickRehab LOL!!! Yes it was me on Zeb and Jami! Because we always joke about shipping to New York State..... triple the price of the furniture piece. I tell them someday I’m showing up with a U-Haul.....of course it will never happen ☹️ He also mentioned the Enamel Match Box container and what I used it for. I wrote back “Matches”.... LOL!!! Yes, I don’t see the 3 pane windows around here. Actually it is hard to find Old Windows! I think people in New York simply throw everything away OR price them so high! This State is wasteful !!! ☹️
@GingerChickRehab4 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome I thought it was probably you. The world is smaller than we think. Luckily I’m in a old rural farming community. Usually lots of old windows. But people are starting to price them to high also. But luckily the lady that run our local habitat is nice to me. It always pays to be nice and kind to people. They remember that and return the favor 💖💝
@jaynebrown6934 жыл бұрын
GingerChickRehab There is a Habitat for Humanity near our youngest daughter’s home in Albany NY. I’m sure if I stopped in there I could find some great items. But I turn off that Highway about 20 minutes before it and head North to get to my daughter”s. I should get “ brave” and venture into that part of Albany. But I travel alone and early before it’s open! When I come home , it is late and they are closed! LOL!! I’m not asking my daughter with a 3 and 2 year old to venture with me! LOL!!! Yes... nice always out scores nasty ! 👍👍👍👍👍🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

These are great ideas! Wonderful about being bought out, but I can see why that could be a hinderment? On the 6 pane window with chicken wire you could get those little tiny clothes pins at dollar tree and use some of the panes for pics, or for a little girls room, you could clip hairbows on the panes. So many ideas to think about.

Thanks for recommending Jamie. I subscribed. I will subscribe to anyone you recommend. 🧡 I loooooooove these windows. Congrats on someone buying all your items. Please be sure you are asking a reasonable amount of $$ for your items, you and Chris put so much time, effort, and love into all you do. You need to be making a hefty profit.....your items are extremely well made and very unique. I have walked through booths at flea markets and most products look great but they just don’t have that unique touch that you two offer. My husband and I went to 2 huge flea markets this weekend and I did score a 3 pane window for $3. Woo! And.....a white enamel kitchen tabletop with red edges- complete with rusty places for $5. I’m going to use it for a Christmas tree farm sign I’ve always wanted. You are a HUGE inspiration! Thanks for your wonderfully edited videos.

Your creativity knows no bounds! I used your antiquing wax over black paint on a little stool. I unfortunately couldn't find the antiquing wax and used gel stain instead. It turned out pretty well, but I do think the stain leaves a bit more color behind and is a bit more difficult to remove than the wax would have been. That brown wax over paint is really a beautiful look. Thanks for sharing it with all of us amateurs!
@GingerChickRehab4 жыл бұрын
Aww.. thank you for sharing that. I know the antiquing wax has been hard to find. But I’ve had a lot of feedback of those that are trying the gel stain too, just quickly wiping it off. And achieving a similar look. So your right on trying that. Thank you for watching 💝
