You are one of the only dudes that actually has proper grinder safety. Even though it may seem stupid to some but grinders have two handles for a reason. I fully appreciate the work you do on the tools. Safety is what makes me stay through till the end of the video. Thank you

Great video! Here's a tip from some old woodworkers i have know through the years... Use some paste wax polish on the table surfaces. Prevents rusting, and the wood glides effortlessly across the surface.

So hypnotic to watch how these things come apart, and get put back together. The way you do it, it makes me think I could do such a thing, someday. Space restrictions prevent needed tools and space to work, but I hope I can do this kind of thing someday. Keep up the great and inspiring work!

Something that I’ll never forget when I was doing my city and guilds in carpentry and joinery was the emphasis the teacher made about how dangerous a spindle milder is, “all joinery tools have the ability to kill” he said “but the spindle moulder and lack of guards for most processes needs the upmost respect”. I did a “bulls eye window” for my part 3 exam, my ass was twitching the whole time I was using the big spindle in the workshop, excellent video. Pete

My thoughts as well, I was cringing the entire time he used it without the guard. I use to have a wonderful employee who was a graduate of that program well. He was from London, could do just about anything he put his mind to as long as you could keep his attention on what he was doing.

Hi from England Firstly: Nice service you've carried out on this...good to see that it wasn't repainted either...it clearly didn't need it... I bet that drive had been making a rite row with the rotor out of alignment like that... New bearings good... I bet someone who had this before couldn't be arsed or lacked the aptitude to sort the issue out... Their loss..your gain eh... 😉 Secondly: Please watch your fingers with this son....spindle moulders can be deadly... ☺️ I've got a very old spindle moulder in storage...Wadkin EV... It's an early one (1920s) designed to run off a lineshaft... The headstock bearings feel rough on it....as well as it needing a general strip down & rebuild... It's one for the future though is that...

*Great work sir* , if u have a 1 double pole push to on switch, 1 push to off switch and a relay/contactor you can upgrade *ON* and *OFF* switch system like using double pole switch one pair to starting condenser and another pair series with push to off switch and relay coil, relay switches main supply to motor so you can use double pole switch to *turn on motor* by holding 2 to 3 sec and push to off switch to *turn off the motor* this will work as *no volt release switch

Get some blue shop towels. They look similar to a common role of paper towels only they are a blue color. They are super tuff and they clean and adsorb 10 times better than any other paper towels. Here in the U.S. they can be purchased at most parts stores (even Wal-Marts). They cost around $2.00 U.S. a roll..... Nice resto on a nice tool.

Great video, damn I miss working in Fusion 360 it's such a great feeling when you can model something and then go make it or 3d print, used it all the time in school we made a motorized camera slider where we printed the controlbox and the frame of the slider and it's so powerful to just being able to tweak your design if needed.
