I just finished my first play through of control about a week ago and all throughout I just *knew* there must be a way to clip out of bounds! Now I want to do another play through!

The normal prop clips you see early on are patched out and have to be done differently on the current version, just drop the object on your head and pick it back up before it touches the floor. A bit tricky to do but it works. =)

What do you think of sub 40? Ik you mentioned you don't know how much lower it can go but maybe you've had some time to think about it since it's been a few weeks

Well, I haven't ran this much at all since setting this time due to RL circumstances, so I've yet to feel out how much lower the time can go. There are a few improvable golds I got in this run (i.e. 21:05 and 27:18) but I don't think that would be enough to get my sum of best below the 40 minute mark. The fact that this came in just a minute over sum of best is kind of ridiculous lol. With that said, there's 2 skips found that have yet to be run-viable that could make sub 40 possible (new screamy skip in OBC, banshee skip in threshold, both with shieldy) but it's hard to say rn. Aside from those, the only time save I can think of is shield gliding through all of Face of the Enemy (lol). tl;dr maybe for segmented whenever we make progress on that

Are these skips doable on PS4/PS5 ? Like the Tomassi skip at the beginning?

Yes actually, the execution is just a bit different on later patch versions. Check here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYK2kHacl9pgl7sm15s The prop has to be dropped on Jesse's head and picked back up before the clip out will work. Works on next gen version as well.
