Have a 426D that I picked up at the Salvation Army for $15. It's a '66 and was nowhere near that good of condition. Fixed her up, and now we take her camping every time.

..Nice finds Shane. A friend of mine, back many decades ago, his dad was a gutterman. He used the old irons and blow torches to lead in the seams. He was a Master at it. I bet that old beat up stove has seen some more stuff. To bad they can't talk...

Cool! There's definitely an art to it. My old sheetmetal boss was real good at it too. I think the old auto body guys use to use them a lot as well.

I found a 426b local for $40. The triple burners hardly ever come up for sale so I snagged it. I see double burners all the time though. Ebay prices arw nuts. It came with a coleman stand as well. A little love and she fired right up. I can't believe you found that triple for $15 in that shape. That's killer.

nice finds, the telescoping gauges are nice and even cheap taps are great at cleaning up threads. iv been on a look out for one of those stoves ever since you showed one.

Them gauges are handy. I use them a lot at work when we cold work holes in titanium. These are just Craftsmans but they are better than the Generals that I usually use in my shop. I hope ya can find ya a stove! I almost bought an old electric babbit pot today at the swap meet. Never seen an electric one but the guy wanted to much for it.

I wish ya lived closer to me. I just checked our local classifieds and there are 46 listings for Coleman stoves and one of the listings the guy has 36 stoves for sale.

Cool stoves Shane! You ever see any lanterns there at the swap meet? I picked up a 1965 Sears lantern a couple weeks ago at a swap meet. Nice video!

Jason I used to pick up a couple lanterns just about every weekend I went to the swap meet but this year they have been pretty slim pickins and the ones that I do see are priced way to high. At one time I had about 50 of them, most of them 242s and 200as, but I think I'm down to about a dozen of them ... I need to stock up again. The Sears lanterns are nice lanterns.

Nice Blowtorch. Can't wait for that rebuild. I have one on my bench...checkvalve did not work...it had what looked like a small rubber plug that was hard as a rock...tried leather but still no worky...maybe yours has the same problem..

Hey Ben, it's been a few years since I have rebuilt one of these. Hopefully I can figure it all out.

i have a 1950 413 D stove and i cant find a leg to replace the left one for nothing. if you decide to sell one of the pull down legs of the $2 parts one please let me know. (p.s. great finds). 3 burner stoves go for over $30 dollars in my neck of the woods .(Texas).

You're more than welcome to one of them. It's a little rusty and greasy but should clean up with some steel wool and a little elbow grease. I'll give it to ya if ya pay shipping. Looks like it will fit in a Priority Mail Legal Flat Rate envelope, which cost 7 bucks to ship. If ya want it, go to my website .... www.shanewhitlock.com ... and click on the Contact link. Send me an email with your info and we can go from there.

Luca, I'm not sure. I don't do as much during the summer, it gets to damn hot in the shop, but I'll have something coming up I'm sure.
