A time when men wore suits and tie or tie and nice shirt with dress slacks, women dressed up and made sure the kiddies were dressed appropriately after all it was a special occasion it was this way most of the time,you cooked for days it didn't have to be Christmas most families visited on Sundays after church or just to visit. Very moving video post of wonderful photos from past times with family and friends gathered. ...And it is true that we are never alone when there is GOD who is our Eternal Companion in this world and through Eternity. Because of God I live and endure my journey toward a remission of affliction which will require long term and alternating treatments to assist God's design for my destiny. ...Seeing these old photos are absolute fun because of noticing the decor of the homes with furnishings and whatnots and clothing/hair styles. I could sense being with my grandparents in their home and I loved their house which was my 2nd home while my folks were busy. My family memories are my life these days, and they always were. Everyone is gone. It's just me. And I'm strong and working forward to life and a future carrying their light. I'm blessed with a promise. God is my faith and promise for life. ...Thank you, Scott. Love, love loved it. I love tinsel too but can't have it because of kitties. We always dressed all up in our best on Christmas Eve and went to Grandma's & Grandpa's. They are gone and now I live in that house. Lots of memories flooded back. Thanks!

The trees really tickle me on how scary skinny branches coming out like they are after you. They must have been cut from yards. I am writing this before it ends but remember a photo from last year my favorite is when the women are shopping carrying all their bags in the city and jumping in the street. Oh, Scott, I am suddenly flooded me with memories of long ago when life was good and I knew I was safe because my parents would protect me from everything bad. I hope my young great grandkids remember their 2020 Christmas this way even though they arrived at my Michigan house wearing masks and doors and windows were cracked open. I loved the Christmas trees especially the ones covered in tinsel.
