My family has the manger scene that your baby Jesus in the cardboard cradle is from. My mom brought it so many years ago at Woolworth after she had left an abusive marriage with my older brother and sister. I used to "kidnap" baby Jesus to play with my Barbies. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing collection! It was like a hug from the past.

This Christmas season had hit me hard too. All those bittersweet memories- the things that should have and could have been. Oh, well, we are both fortunate that Scott has injected a sense of nostalgia and I see the fun and hope that Christmas brings to people of all ages. Many of those in the photos didn't have perfect lives; the lesson I need to learn is that life is not an easy road for anyone but rather a test for each of us to draw as much good as we can from what we have.

I by choice an all but alone at Christmas because I shut out all but a very, very few friends and family members who I know will NOT disrupt the precious and sacred time of my Christmas. I go get my tree. I get a 12 to 16 ft unsheared traditional balsam and set it up myself i cut it down to fit my living room. I have ornaments which have been in my family up to 100 years now....

Greetings Scott, Enjoyed this video so very much. I must tell you that at point 11:59 I spied that beautiful small nightstand tree, I remember as a small girl having one on the nightstand which was next to my bed. We used it as a night light during Christmas. I loved the colored candles, I would reach out and run my fingers along their profiles. Someday I hope to find one and purchase it. Home with a wonderful dinner, my Cousin and his wife made, we are keeping distance and I am home at my place and they are at theirs. We exchanged gifts in bags and went out merry way... Enjoyed all the Christmas Lights during my drive to and fro...they were delightful, and with 39 degrees, NO SNOW OR ICE, which I am so grateful for. Raining but it is a warmer rain...THANK YOU GOD. Beautiful Scott! Love your home and the music is so special. Merry Christmas. Different kind of Christmas this year for me too. I have 5 children and 11 grands and this is the first year ever that we have not all been together for Christmas Day. We have chosen this year to all stay in our respective homes, do porch drops with presents and zoom calls tomorrow. Recently divorced and living with my two lab rescues I took you advice and I decorated for Christmas. My decorations are the prettiest I have ever had! They do make me happy and sitting here with my dogs, looking at the lights, I am thanking God for all the blessings and praying that every one stay safe until this crisis is over.
