I had the 954 Blade and regret selling it. I bought a mint used example and serviced it myself, it didn't break the bank to do so. I will never buy a Ducati because of their exorbitant service/parts costs, unless I become fabulously wealthy.👍

I ear you, I completely rebuilt one and I haven’t spent a fortune, I don’t think I could say the same if it was a Ducati…

Love old school stuff! I myself have owned a 1987 gsxr1100h for 22 years! I love the look, the sound, k&n induction!!! But bloody hell it's uncomfortable😅 which is why I bought a Africa twin 1100 dct!

I ride a 2001 Ducati ST4. It's a great bike and I love the way it delivers its power and its handling. The dry clutch is so cool to hear too. I bought it used and I absolutely had to take off the clip-on style bars, (as I was numb and fatigued after 30 minutes)and install an LSL riser and bars. I had to lengthen all the control cables, electrics and hoses, but in the end, with a new Sargent seat and grip puppies, I am able to stay on it all day without being beat up by the end of the day. Also, I did Stage 1 Eprom Flash and exhaust by Fast By Ferracci. It's a great bike now and Fast AF. Rock steady at 100MPH.

The BMW R1250rs is a fabulous machine. Its a bit more in cost but its worth it. Lisa has her 2017 rs in our garage and I can’t believe how it rides runs and looks. Maintenance is easy it’s really just a fabulous bike. I love Japanese bikes, so your ninja and GSX are always really reliable. But I got to say the BMW is a step above. You pay more but you get a better machine. I’ll stick with my Africa twin which I love and my FJR, which is a fun sport touring bike. You can put that thing through the twisties and it rocks it. It sits more upright but its fun. But Yamaha really does need to update it with the electronics. Thanks for the Vlog. Enjoy your rides. Thanks for the AT videos. Cheers.

I like 2 cylinder engines so my votes would go for Ducati and BMW; as for Ducati I share the same concerns as you for maintenance and on top of that I don't like the idea of timing belts on any kind of engine (bike or car). Maybe I'm biased because I have an R1200R, but I love the boxer engine, for many reasons, the main one is the low center of gravity.

Okay I am going out on a limb here, I am going to say look at the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S. I have spoken with several owners of this bike and they love it. Is it going to do 150MPH most likely not. But it has a good price, they are comfortable, they have some cool tech features, such as dynamic aero wings, the S version has ESA. Those are debatable whether they do any thing of value but it is cool. LoL. Take a peek.
