About the coupon… you don’t mail it in. See at the bottom where it says “Take this Coupon to Your Grocer” Your job is to take coupon to the grocery and use it like any other coupon at check out. The grocery store’s job is to take 10 cents off your purchase, and the grocery store then sends the coupon to the address listed in Iowa to be reimbursed the 10 cents they took off your purchase. Your grocery store may not accept the coupon if that Iowa addy is no longer valid, or they may be able to find a valid address.

Me too. I don't really remember getting in the glass milk bottles, but our milkman delivered Prairie Farms Dairy products. The milk, half and half, cream, buttermilk, etc. in waxed cartons and sour cream and cottage cheese in plastic tubs, but I can also remember it coming in anodized aluminum containers that you saved and could use for drinking cups. I've still got some of those. Also got butter sticks and cheese I think. We had a little plastic flag-type thing that you put out on the porch to let the milkman know you wanted milk or other products. I remember we put it in a little cup. I think had a dial to show what you wanted and how many, but my memory fails as to how that worked exactly. I remember seeing bills that probably were torn out of a book and kept tally of what was delivered through the month until the bill was left and you settled up. Wow, the good ole days.

It’soldest coffee ever drunk. I know Americans don’t understand irregular verbs. This verb is drink/drank/ drunk. Americans think “ drunk” is only a noun. It’s a nominative adjective based on a past participle. Only 11 verbs follow this IAU vowel sequence called umlaut transformation which appears non alphabetical but deeper down it is. Other verbs like this are: swim, swam, swum, begin, began, begun, sink, sank, sunk. You can work out the rest. It’s a whole lecture to explain this but I retired from teaching at university in 2015.
