Come along with my brother-in-law, iowa2asia and I as we track down the oldest geocache in Nebraska! We had a great afternoon outing finding geocaches of all sizes and even visited the historical locations of the Saline-Ford crossing and the Oxbow Trail. Join us on our geocaching adventure!

Thanks for taking me along. That was a full day of caching. We also got the oldest cache too. Did you see our name =D I do remember that last cache when we were at Geocoinfest for sure. Dave & I got that on the way back to the hotel early evening. Big Hugs

+tweetnes I actually took this video in July, so your name wouldn't have been on it when we were there. Yes, the gateway chapel ammo can cache is a good one too. An ammo can in plain sight in a place crawling with muggles! Thanks for watching and commenting, tweetnes. Hope you are having a good autumn! Happy caching :)

Woohoo! I'm finally caught up on your videos. The oldies are awesome to get. I still have to get the oldest geocache in Minnesota but its a bit of a drive north of the cities.

+scottinojaivideos (gsmX2) iowa2asia was on fire for sure! I don't think we had any real big challenges, and I did spot a few, but he was definitely on top of it that day. He definitely bailed me out on that one where he did the bug dance... he wasn't going to bushwhack in, but I was having trouble finding it. Thanks for watching and commenting Scott! Happy caching :)

AWESOME video!!! :D This is such an awesome video on so many levels. Congrats on getting Nebraska's oldest geocache!! That accomplishment must have brought a lot of satisfaction. I haven't scored Tennessee's oldest cache yet, but I did find Maine's oldest geocache, also hidden in 2001. It was hidden near a beautiful lighthouse by the sea! :) I loved that historical marker!!! :) Thank you very much for the nice, slow pan that you did...I greatly enjoyed reading the marker through your video. What interesting history!! That's what I love...wherever you go, you'll find history and geocaches ;) Looked like some cool finds and fun times were had, so glad to see that! Thanks for bringing me along, and producing such an excellently edited video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! And I have definitely added it to my "Historical Geocaching in the Geo-Vlogger Community" playlist! :)

Interesting video Darick, it is great to find the really old cache and also its rare when the logbook is original...our oldest find is from 2002 :) Did you know that it is very rare to find ammo box cache in Slovakia?...I do not know cacher who found it in our country to this day but I have read somewhere that some two or three are active outthere. Your video is inspiring as always ! thumbs up.

+Majo Griesbach - The Synesthesis Thanks so much for commenting on my video. It is always great to get feedback from those watching! Ammo box caches are my favorite, but I am not surprised that they are not popular everywhere in the world. What container is used for larger caches in Slovakia? Happy caching!

+Geocaching with Darick ...you are welcome, look forward to listen more vides. Regular and Large sizes are here in Slovakia mostly plastic lid-buckets, lock and lock boxes and similar tupperware stuff. Large caches are very popular just because of size.

+Kristin “Hakliva” GeoHakliva Ha! i2a and I always give each other a hard time when we visit each other... we set some high goal for number of finds and place it on the host like the whole visit will be a bust if we don't get that many caches. I don't believe we made a blackjack, but surely a baker's dozen :) Thanks for watching and commenting Hakliva!
