Cool thing about the axe of morkai Is that it is actually a khorne demon axe that Logan re-forged so that just shows how awesome he is unless they axe is slowly corrupting him

If we're talking all over the board then Zabriel is the oldest space marine, he was one of the uncrowned princes but he was also one of the fallen. I know they dont count but it's a cool fact that he was part of the first 5000 space marines ever made

Being in the warp is nothing Ike status ....he could be in there for what seems like two months or 50,000 years but all that matters is that when was still moving,not locked in place and time but the only time that matters is how long has passed in the real world

Retcon yes but as far as retcons go it’s not that deep, even in old lore the imperium was so backwards and shit at administration that a lot of chapters/ records are inaccurate or lost so that fact being wrong is not surprising

Same. I always wanted to check it out for years and a family member got me to try the tabletop game. Painting the models and strategizing how to build am army to play with is SO much fun. You should look into it. It is expensive but there's 3d printing and used deals on ebay, boxes/combat patrol sets etc..

Excuse me? Logan wields what? In his hands is the Khornite axe of Morkai. A trophy he earned during the first war of Armageddon. During a fight with a world eater he lost his own weapon and was forced to rip open the chaos marine’s throat with his teeth, claiming the axe as his and using it going forward. Although it is demonic in nature, he has never had a problem wielding it from his steadfastness. Ragnar Blackmane wields a chainsword named Frostfang. It’s not a power sword or anything but it is the sword he uses.

Id say hes closer to 25,000 years experienced. Bjorn. 11,000 or so. Fought during the heresy, has spent most of thenlast 10k in dreadnought slumber. Abadon. Hard to say, all those alive from the heresey have spent somkuch time in the warp. Also consider enter wsrp the year 41k. Spends 1,000 years there. Emerges in 43k. 2,000 years pass. They enter the warp, spend 10 years there emerge in 47k, huge loss in real time plus a huge jump ect.

Skipping through the ages does not mean he's 10 thousand years old. Talos, from the Night Lords books was a Heresy veteran. But he says more than once he aged only around 100 years since the heresy.

There are quite a few Space Marines in general that have gone to five hundred years or more. In the novel Dante, he had a sergeant as a neophyte, Galileon, that had trained new recruits for half a millennium, as just one example. I'd reckon the typical age of a veteran in the lore is a few hundred years at least.
