I do my jacket spuds the same way , cook them in the microwave untill done , I have a skewer to pierce the spuds to make sure completely cooked before going in the air fryer to crisp up , think the size of those spuds should have been 15/20 mins in microwave never had a hard spud.

My method for perfect jacket spuds no matter the size is 20/20. That's 20 in microwave and 20 in airfryer at 190°C. That obviously wasn't a baking potato. But great effort, the bol sauce looked the business 👍👍 Nat's looking great, that's all her fave meals doing her the world of good ❤️❤️

i stick my spuds in the oven while the sunday roast is doing , spuds a the bottom and then freeze um , then when i want one , airfryer for half an hour

Yes, they are nice cooked in the air fryer. One of the first things I cooked in it, along with roast potatoes. I've been watching videos on a channel " Spud man". Has a mobile catering unit. Sells all sorts of different baked potatoes. Get's loads of customers. It's in your area somewhere I think. Somewhere up in the midlands anyway.
