Can't wait to see how it looks in the end. Will the slip-made under glazes at the studio where I work have a likely similar effect? I'm going to try them and see. Lots of colors.

Underglazes are usually designed to have a thinner application, so they might not work as well as a slip made of the same clay as the body, but it's always worth trying. Good luck!

Can this slip technique be added to bisqueware or does it have to be green? Thanks!

It depends on what you're applying. If you're using slip made of the same clay as the body then it will need to be applied to greenware to match the shrinkage. Slip applied to bisqueware will fall off as it dries. If you use a slip/underglaze specifically designed to go onto bisqueware then it might work
