I finally manage to get through geddon with some celestials alive and managed to get celestial protection after 27 attempts. just to realize it was a level 180 bounty afterall, forgot to change it to 220 FACEPALM...

I confirm that arfus is absolutely clean for this fight together with perma root comp. You suicide him turn 1 massively slowing enemies, and bring chi ji and it is ultra reliable and clean.

The perma root comp is much more consistent on geddon if you also bring arfus with downward dog to slow them down enough

That was the hardest one so far, I failed it so many times I ended up setting the boss level to 80 so I could defeat Baron Geddon.

It pains me everytime you heal before you buff heal power with the same speed attack in the first battle.

the Bwonsamdi comp from the Mercenaries subreddit worked pretty well for me (freeze + bounce) although I still had to roll until Geddon didn't get any health buffs, because not enough upgrades :P

Try Bwomsamdi bounce! They target him, so he takes no damage, the rest of your comp is 5 celestials. Xuen’s chestpiece buffs stack when you return. Kill geddon with Xuen, Niuzao & Long’xin. Survive and no deaths at 220

First round, Bwom, xuen, yulon. Yulon keeps xuen alive and you don’t care if yulon dies. Then the xuen, longxin and niuzao handle the rest of the fight.

Bwon also makes the last fight so easy because you bench half the enemy and can take them on 3 vs 3

@@TrafalgarWakka you do not need to level anything specific for Bwonsamdi. You do not even need to max him. You just need to level his ability/equip to return mercs to the bench and reduce its cooldown. Not sure, but probably it is even better to not max Bwonsamdi. Enemy will treat him as a weakest merc and will attach him. Even while Bwonsamdi is immune.

khadgar elise where most likely to low in my team what worked second try was, Bwonsamdi,Balinda both only 30 with ragnaros,geddon,xuen, chichi Bwonsamdi,Balinda carried first and second fight got to final boss with xuen chichi ragnaros

boah, I go crazy with the 2nd fight. Every time the green ones got +60 attack. That is to much for one celestial protection

You should try swapping khadgar and Elise for bwonsamdi and balinda. Somehow there is a bug in which if you bounce a frozen enemy, they stay frozen for the next turn as well. You can bounce 3 times and they always attack bwonsamdi so you can clear the adds with 4 rounds of balinda plus geddon. For the bench you can go celestial or artillery. It was pretty consistent for me. Also, this strat work for the second and third boss.

They will NOT always attack Bwonsamdi by the way. It depends on multiple factors.

i beat it with bwonsambi but lost all but 2 celestials. balinda died turn 1 varden died turn 2 bwonsambi died turn 3 xuen sacrificed himself to save the innocent. i gave him a medal

Amazing. I haven't unlocked lvl 220 yet, just 180. So my Geddon is easier All my chars are further developed than those of Old Guardian (I had a *lot* of renown) but I still ... am stuck. I try again and again. Usually Khadgar is being targeted, so if I start with elise rooting, then Khadgar has speed 7 in the 2nd turn, i.e., I fail. Whenever things go a bit different (i.e., in my favor), then I cannot use a fire skill, hence my Geddon deals laughable damage, or Geddon is targeted and he cannot activate no skill at all. If anyone knows a better strategy, I'll go for it :D

Tried around 30-40 times with your comp, only a tiny bit lower leveled than your mercs. EVERY, and I mean literally EVERY time Khadgar gets slowed (=GG) or Geddon does the aoe which multiplies for every merc from yours who didn't act yet (=GG). Can't believe you got that lucky on your first try or I get THAT bad luck repeatedly. This is really frustrating, guess this is the highest I will try for a long time. No fun when you can't try new comps and the only option is farming boring bounties for endless hours to get one more comp high enough... Will still take a look at your vids, good luck Old Guardian and gz to your newborn son!

Same as you, and i have mercs at 170, 180 lvl. i Try 40 times, only 1 time i beat Geddon, and in 2nd fight the green Mob gain 100 attack, only 1 celestial treasure and they destroy me in 2 turn. then i try Bwomsandi - Balinda - (freezebug) and i finish all the boss rush after 10 try.

annoying thing is theres alota mercenaries who have the ability to be FANTASTIC like gruul would be amazing for geddon if you can get his dragon skull equipment up and combo with deathwings heated scales treasure you can go full fire immune

I find out the hard way. i level Gruul equip at 29. spent almost 2k renown, and see all my merc destroy at first AOE. sad story :)

@@Mr1mojo9risin84 that's a stupid way to test it, since every ability/equipment/treasure scale linear for each renown level. You could just do your math...
