When it comes to Oldhammer, Banners and shield designs were a prominent feature. I love looking back and checking out the weird and wonderful often freehanded logos and designs painted on them.
Such designs would often take a multitude of forms such as symbols or lettering, to huge freehanded pieces of art work which were amazing pieces in their own right.
These designs, on the shields and banners would often be a key focal point of the miniature or even the whole army itself.
Did you ever paint any freehand banners?
Did you ever come up with you're own shield designs?
Did you attempt the red ogre face shield design?
