The Iron Dome is meant for RPGs and similar ordinance. Not for actual missiles. If you're going to outnumber and overpower the Iron Dome.... you're going to need a lot of people with RPG's and such.

Iron dome is not for RPGs it's for low to medium hight attacks the system that Israel has against RPGs is the "trophy" system that is used to defend armored vehicles

The reason Russia hasn't won yet is actually pretty simple. They're big, but all that gets them is unwieldy proportions and slow logistics. They haven't had a real fight since they were the USSR, and all the people that HAD that fight are dead, so basically it's like they took all the new interns at a business and promoted them to team-lead because all the old guys quit. They have no idea what they're doing, so they're just flailing blindly. The only reason they haven't lost outright is because they are so big, it takes a lot to really hurt them.
