That's what fishing is all about to me sitting and having that view and the peace and quite, a fish is a bonus.

Fished there many of times years ago. Directly in front of the rocks. Very deep hole. It was well known for codling. But I am going back 30 years lol

Great video mate some times we blank but its all about being out there as long as there is a bait in the water we always have a chance
@jamiecheetnam62425 күн бұрын
Best to fish that mark up 2 hours before low and 2 hours up. You can reach the deep hole then. There’s a huge drop off ledge

I've only ever fished that mark on the boat. There is a deep hole pretty much right in front of where you were.. I've never done particularly well there, but the beauty of the place and how fishy it looks draws me back most of the time I fish that section of the straits.

Moel uh Don . Like Bettws uh Coed John. You really love the Menai and those sunsets that's plain to see. Your videos are also better the way you both do them now : blanks and all if and when they occur 'cos that;s all part of fishin' .

Lost a lure and a bit of line to a snag on that little beach in the summer so I know how snaggy that mark can be 😅 stunning location to fish and I might hit it over winter myself. Tight lines on the next one GKJ 👍

I really enjoy your videos mate, I have to ask though why don’t you clip your rigs down for casting? A more streamlined rig will get you more distance travelling behind the lead

John, why don't you clip your pulley rig down for casting.
@GKJ-FISHING5 күн бұрын
Hey buddy a few people have mentioned this to me, I use to do it but I was always paranoid that the bait wouldn’t eject from the lead and I’d be fishing with my bait still attached to the lead 😂
@warrenbrooks-r2h4 күн бұрын
@@GKJ-FISHING No worries John, I understand what your saying. I have not really had a problem using Breakaway leads or Gemini splashdown clips when using non gripper leads. I fish the Fylde coast mainly so need the extra distance and use worm baits a lot and it helps keep the bait on the hook. Really enjoy your videos so keep up the good work and tight lines.
