Come on, you're very patient. I don't think people know how difficult and random (ennemies hits for example) this game is. Well played for real, I searched for this to know how it ends. I can close this ~25 years old page now :) I guess you did some walkthroughs (I can kinda see it in your pathing) before playing this one because you did so well.

There was a bug in this game where if you jumped from a specific place, you could hold on to the wall and jump again. 😁 Also, you missed a few warp zones. They were my favourite! And I used to play this on my dad’s laptop. Haha makes me feel very old now and am an 80s kid. Thanks for uploading 👍

From what I remember you dont need the jet pack @3:31 to get the top two gems. You need to stand on the edge of the bottom blue step to jump and dave "climbs" the wall. Was always trying to save jet pack juice! Well that was over 3 decades ago, and so I may be off here 🙂

I keep coming back to this video, lol... finally finished the game. You're an absolute madman for doing the final part of level 6 without jetpack. btw, if you don't take the trophy in level 6 you can pass _through_ the door with the jetpack, and walk to the right on top of the level to access the level 8 warp zone area. Don't walk off the map edge though; it was never intended to have a warp zone, and trying to go to one locks up the game.

Very similar to an early British game called Manic Miner and it's sequel Jet Set Willy which both ran on the 8-bit home computers of the time such as the Sinclair Spectrum. In those games you can't change direction during the jump or dropping down, and there's no jet pack or gun. They require more pixel-precision gameplay.

3:30 you can actually climb the walls. You don’t need to use the jet pack. That’s how you get the gems up higher. No idea if it’s a glitch? But, I finished this game 10x over & I do it each time

Dude this game was insanely difficult. Timing those monsters to shoot....walkable planks from which you will suddenly fall off. And you cannot save the game. If you die you start from level 1. Half of the time in the video I was freaking out.
