I would actually like to see Soup's idea worked on a bit more. I think the core idea of the buy in to a group competition is pretty good but I think the rewards only going to one person is bad. Adding in regular mini-game style rewards for everyone and having the buy-in GP distributed to the top 3 instead of just first place might be enough. If there were some mini-games needing a bit of a revival you could put them into the playlist for this competition and let people earn rewards in those minigames at the same time as if they were playing them normally.

The private servers really scare me. I dont think they're a bad idea, but is gonna take people away from the main game. I am hopeful that it'll bring in more new players that it offsets it, I know a lot of friends that would get into osrs if we could jump into bossing right away and maybe theyll get hooked in.
