Thank you for a proper demonstration of how to link up the cables. The "Charging" connector seems to be mislabeled. It does charge the device, but the fact that it is input as well, is not obvious. My device has the connectors higher up and the "Dynamic mic" much further down. Also good to know that it takes at least three seconds of pressing the button to start the device.

You can. It’s like connecting a BT speaker. My issue with that is the delay. I don’t know yet how to fix it. I’ve tried a few BT earphones but with same delay issue.

If you connect your dynamic mic to your keyboard then connect to the dynamic port of the sound card, yes it works but audio is peaking. Better is possible if connected to the music input of the sound card. But please take note mic effects from the sound card will not work if mic is connected to the keyboard.

Excellent your explanation, but I have some doubts: All this set up is for audio recording only right? And also you need to have a software for audio recording/processing in your computer Right? And finally, the cell phone will only capture the video and you will need to sincronize the video with the recorded audio later in a especific software right? I'm asking all this because I followed all the steps exactly as directed and I could hear the sound of my guitar and the backing track very clearly from the V8 audio card, but the recording I made with the phone captured all the ambient sounds but nothing from the guitar and from the laptop (backing track). Very common issue Streaming or recording with no audio recorded or viewers cannot hear you but you can hear as if everything’s working is the lightning adapter. Please watch this video And Test you’re lightning adapter if you have the right one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f320lIWcn5uUl7s You should buy a lightning adapter that supports calling off you can’t buy directly from apple store.

No worries. That’s actually true. I’m still trying to figure out a clean audio output with V8. It’s just hard sometimes to expect high from a not so expensive device. Like using an Irig stream will have a clean output but an iRig itself is equivalent to 4 or more pcs of V8 😅

Most likely it’s not detecting at all and the issue might be the lightning adapter. First to test if you are using the right one here is the video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f320lIWcn5uUl7s Now if its the lightning adapter I bought mine from Apple Store and it works. Someone has message me if not original lightning adapter from Apple Store, select the one which supports calling. I can’t really assure you 100% coz I don’t have that kind of adapter yet.

Most likely it’s adapter issue. Even if you follow everything if don’t have the right one, you will only hear but will not record. I got my adapter from the Apple Store.
