Backstage interview with Joey and Eric, before the gig. The interviewer is Annette Hopfenmüller, who was the host of "Hard 'N Heavy".

7:09 That's not the story Ross told. Ross says, he basically was let go due to Joey wanting to take full control. Notice how Joey does not add anything to Eric's BS.

cool video , but when the lady ask about Ross the Boss , the fact alone that only Eric replies shows that it was not true.. fact is that Ross left with not the best term regarding Joey , but that shows to me that since the beginning that was Joeys and Eric's bands !

yes a cool video...but sorry, fact is Ross hasn't simply left the band - he was fired by Joey. (Just like Scott later on.) What a good term regarding Joey do you expect from Ross been treatened that way? Imo Ross always did deal incredibly gentle with that...(I would have been completely freaked out)

And another "sorry but..." It shows that since the beginning it was Joey's trademark and a band of brothers. And it shows that at the moment of this interview it already has become just Joey's trademark. Remember: they started with "Battle Hymns" which has a 50:50 creative input from Joey AND Ross. Remember: Eric did never give any creative input (in the compositions) not even a single line of lyrics and he never inteded to. ... WE met on english ground. In a backstage room WE heard the sound. Then WE all knew what WE had to do... ... This is not just a "london travel report"-song it's their theme song, opening every show since the dawn of time. --WE is Joey and Ross--

The most disappointing thing it shows: Joey is too cowardly to tell his lies himself and needs Eric to do it for him. I mean, how reasonable are the named "reasons" actually? First: that marriage thing - obviously this marriage wasn't a problem for Ross beeing an active member of an active band!? Right!? Second: Yes, Ross did not retire he continiued to make music...and it's not metal..ok. That's an Info what happens after Manowar. Nothing more. (If we are carefully listening to Eric: He is not saying that Ross has left BECAUSE OF starting another band - just info what he's doing now) But sadly he announces to mention reasons in the beginning, which sadly implies a "BECAUSE OF" without been said.

Wow! By knowing the real reasons about Ross's departure how weird it is to hear so easy spoken lies from the mouth of Eric! "Ross is happy that is what matters now!! He quit Heavy metal genre for blues, He saw us and wish us luck at the airport!!!!" Wow Lies, lies and more lies!! Ok you might not say Joey let him go over greed and having the control of the band (Ross said these things not me!) Was it so hard at least to say he got departed because of personal differences instead of painting happy pictures?? I feel bad about hearing these and when I know everything they said about the departure of Ross was a lie! I don't understand all the holy vatican type bullshit secrecy behind these things. manowar did exactly the same in Scott's situation while they listed him as the official drummer on their website and Scott said in an interview that he hadn't been with band for quite some time and they also lied about his first departure after the Kings of Metal tour and his son was never ill as Manowar stated! I think even saying nothing is much better than telling Lies to fans because sooner or later truth always wins.
