Alanis Morissette - Landgraaf / Megaland 27.05.1996 "Pinkpop Festival" (TV) Live & Interview
Alanis had such a fantastic backing band on that tour, amongst others Taylor Hawkins on the drums (now FOO FIGHTERS) !
I've seen Alanis in München at the "Rock im Park"-Festival two days earlier (25.05.1996). That festival had the most diverse Line-Up I've ever seen on a single festival day on one single stage (Olympiastadion Mainstage). The following bands played on that day in this order (almost all of them favorites of me back then):
Rancid
Paradise Lost
Sepultura
Alanis Morissette
Rage Against The Machine
Die Toten Hosen (Co-Headliner)
Sting (Headliner)
All bands were fantastic, even Sting was great and played a lot of old The Police Songs, maybe the younger and harder bands inspired him to put on a great show. Good memories! Unfortunately there are no video recordings of "Rock im Park" 1996, too bad....
If you are a band or their legitimate representant and wish for material to be removed, or if you are the filmer and desire proper credit, please reach out to me via e-mail at oldschoolvhs@gmail.com. I will always respect your wishes.

I think highly of Alanis Morissette. I am in Ottawa Canada right now. This is her home town. She just played Blues Fest on the 10th of July. 2022. What a voice. In this video in 1996, Taylor Hawkins was fabulous. I am a drummer and I can see the energy that he puts in to his performance. Today in 2022, the drummer is Victor Indrizzo. Another American Drummer. He is wonderful too. Very technical and accurate and his timing is great. The songs feel good. Different than Taylor Hawkins though. I am sad that he died just trying to get high or intoxicated somehow and the concoction of substances that he took, stopped his heart. Unknown to him! I don't think that he was planning that. Now it is too late. Once the heart stops, life ends, Forever! It's a big price to pay, accidentally. Life goes on though, for us. We have to continue, day to day. We and others like the Foo Fighters for example, have to adapt, unfortunately.

Taylor Hawkins is the best drummer. Talk about putting 150% out every night. I am so sorry for dave and the band. I cant imagine how hard this must be. Taylor was freaking amazing.

@@ShaunHensley well your kinda right. It's quite known they were involved with each other. A friend worked with the security and they ended their relationship in the end of the tour and there was some heated arguments between them.
