Recently had to educate a party on bards. They were relatively new players only there second campaign, I gave them a side quest where they had to recover a valuable bottle of wine from a bard who stole it. The party a barbarian, fighter and cleric at lvl7 being murder hobos decided to take on an old bard character I use as an npc at lvl9 the bard proceeded to dodge every attack with cutting words then charm the fighter, disable the barb with hysterical laughter and put the cleric to sleep then convinced the fighter his companions were charmed to help him tie them up then asked to inspect the fighters helmet and used it to bludgeon him unconscious. The bard then left the party tied up stole all there gold and drank the bottle of wine in front of them before departing. They were shocked to learn this bard and his spells were a creatable character and completely legit.

It's the teeth that has caused the lisp. The orcs and half-orcs have it, too. She has gotten some better teeth, but seems to be keeping the lisp. Note: check out their pacifist barbarian vid.

One of the many cool things they did with filming techniques in this one is when one of the guards was being taken tot he floor, the camera followed the guard's position instead of staying with level or the position of the player character doing the takedown.

I have a gaming group consisting of my wife and 4 of my children. We play when school is out for summer, so that it doesn't interfere with their academia. But it is a heck of a blast. My youngest is 5. His first character was a thief that saved the day due to a nat 20 sneak attack. It's all he's talked about for 8 months.

Nixie, the spell caster, actually saved the day once because of her lack of intelligence. I love this series, especially when they bring in others like the fish person cleric, or the pacifist orc.

Too many spell slots (all used for fire) to be a warlock. Also, the go-to cantrip for warlocks is eldritch blast over firebolt, partly because the class has so many ways to augment it, and in part because it is one of the top-damaging cantrips. Also, fire resistance is one of the more common monster abilities. I recall reading somewhere that someone involved in the production stated she is a sorcerer.
