What can I say? I love every song Tommy performs his own way, no matter the musical genre. He makes everything sound great, and the video is so funny! Thanks for your reaction and for being there at Tommy Friday ❤

Hey Mate 55 year old Metaller/Rocker here.. I came across Tommy about 6 months ago. I'm a huge Thin Lizzy/Gary Moore fan and I don't know anyone else on the planet who can play Gary Moore to perfection. I have come to realise as you say does he rest? He records a video every week, all the music parts, the singing, the arrangement, oh and his solos...and video himself as well. I don't think he sleeps..Tommy is a one off, he is a Genius and you know it doesn't matter what song he does, he does it justice and at times even better. Check out his version of Emerald by Lizzy it's amazing, or even Toto's Africa... Great vid man from Ireland...

Tommy works 24/7/365, including holidays and vacations. He is a musical genius and a workaholic. However the most important thing is that he loves what he does, so he is happy with all this constant hard work. Your reaction was great as always and also so hilarious, absolutely love it.👍😄

I loved the song clips in your intro lol. This cover by Tommy was awesome! I know who Roy Clark is! My parents watched Heehaw all the time, they loved Roy and all the old school country stars. Great, fun reaction as always! Thank you!

I asked Tommy once how long it takes for him to make his covers and he said that sometimes it only takes a day, and sometimes it can take weeks. For example his cover of Celine Dions ”It’s all coming back to me now” took him weeks to finish😄

Tommy went live last Thursday and actually answered that question. He normally puts 1-7 days into his Friday covers. Last weeks video was olny one day of work (probably both day and evening since he was doing the live from his studio very late).

Yes, in Sweden we have 5 or 6 weeks paid holiday each year and sick leave and loads of child leave for both parents and sick child leave and free health care, but now ... we still work 40 hours a week.

I'm a Swede and I don't work 9-5, I work 7-5 mon-fri and 10-2 one saturday a month. Wish I was only working 9-5 :P

In Sweden, the usual working hours are between 07.00 - 16.00, Monday to Friday. 40 hour work week. If you work weekends, you have time off during the week. If you work 7 days, you have 7 days off. For the total working hours in the month, there should always be 160 hours, if you work more than that, there will be days off that you can accumulate and take out. So my one sister works for LKAB which is a company that mines iron ore, she works more than 160 hours a month and she saves that so she can take an extra 4 weeks vacation in the fall for moose hunting. BUT She still has 5 weeks of vacation during the summer.

If Tommy is gonna poke the country bear, next up should be Willie Nelson - On the Road Again. He's already touched on Willie in his version of White Christmas. There is a line in the song "life I love is making music with my friends" which is ideal for the Tommy J and the Tommys Band.

Great video. I could watch Tommy Johansson all day. A few comments: - I see that Tommy has started to clone himself. Soon, Tommy J clones will take over the world. - If you want to hear another great version of 9 to 5, check out HOME FREE. Their version is better than the original by Dolly Parton. SINGIT LIVE also does a great version. - You should check out VOICEPLAY. They do terrific covers of Valhalla Calling, Hoist the Colours, The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson. - Speaking of VoicePlay, GEOFF CASTELLUCCI does awesome covers of Ghost Riders in the Sky, Folsom Prison Blues, Man of Constant Sorrow, and Big Iron by Marty Robbins.
