With such a provocative title, this film illustrates some of the perceived problems a supervisor might face working with women, but ultimately demonstrates where the real problem lies.

Brad is correct in most of his issues with women. It’s 2020 and I no longer work in medical billing because it was a nightmare on multiple levels. This biggest issue I had were all the coworkers I had. The cat fighting was terrible. As a guy I was able to stay out of it to a certain point. The there were women who were divorced and old that wanted to blame me for all of their problems. The pay sucked too but I probably would’ve lasted longer if it wasn’t for women being 85% or more of the staff. I did stay in that field way to long which is my fault. I did switch to Analyst, business Analyst roles and making WAY more money. Almost double now!!! I am Happier now! less of one thing now and more of another. 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂So, I do think that Brad was mostly correct.

@@johnreese7291 I worked in construction and commercial & industrial facilities maintenance. Worked with 95% men. Very few workplace issues over 30 years. As I got older and my body had many years of physical work out in the weather, climbing ladders and lugging around heavy tools & equipment, I took a job as a bank courier, then worked in the bank office. Me and the President were the only men. It was sickening and almost unbearable every day. Constant drama, bickering, shit talking by every female about every other female. And the majority of them spent 75% of their time on the internet instead of actual work. Easily, there were more than twice the number of women needed. If the boss simply monitored the computers search history, he could have swept most of them out the door. Then they would actually be so busy doing their jobs, they wouldn't have time to create all the drama. It was amazing to me how oblivious the management was to the massive obvious slacking going on right under their noses. After being used to actual hard work, the kind that was exhausting, but satisfying, It blew my mind how all of these women would constantly yak on & on about how hard their jobs were.

Wow guys.....just wow....most of my work history is a warehouse type setting and I'm a pretty chill ass person. I have more male friends than female...even so, I was fought over and the men I worked with and still work with are more petty than all the ladies I have ever worked side by side with 😂 I will say I can run run circles around the guys at my places of employment. Here's what I think, the men nowadays are becoming more feminine and act like they have more hormones than the average woman. Just look around, all the men are getting smaller and more busty than the average woman. Men are way more petty than women these days....get your testosterone back. It's unbecoming of you all. Call it out when you see a little bitch boy. It was fucking embarrassing to bring men to meet my dad and the hand shake they gave was like a gummy bear. I like my man to be a Man.

I applied to be a garbage truck driver. I am female, and this was unheard of in the 1970s. I was hired by the males, treated with respect, and told to show up the next morning to start my first day of work. The next morning, I was fired on the spot by a female manager in front of the male drivers. Her ugly comments included that no woman would want this job while insinuating that I must have promised "something" to the men to get hired. The males, to their credit, apologized profusely and looked embarrassed.

My grandma used to say: "No house is big enough for two women." and this applies not just to houses. Many women will eventually start with the back-stabbing and drama; it's just how they're wired. My wife even admits to it. She's glad she works with almost all men. The other two women in her office have their little dramas, but since it's only 3 of them (and 10 men) they can work it out. Add a couple more women? That's a recipe for disaster.

I am the only woman in an all male environment. I came from a job that was very, shall we say....diverse. I HATED that job. No work was ever done. Or it was done wrong. Or there were tons of water cooler moments, one day i got stuck at the register for hours, no relief, pages for help ignored, customers ignored. No bathroom break and i missed my lunch. I wanted to leave that day but not until I had another job lined up.... thankfull i did land this sweet sweet deal where I'm currently employed. The new boss showed up out of the blue, acted surprised to see me working at that dump. Told me to come see him if it didn't work out. So i did. One week from the day i got shit on i started the other job. Scared shitless (i have been abused and sexually harassed by men in the past. I was a afraid to be alone with anyone but the guy who hired me. I knew him well enough to know i was safe.) So here we are, four months later. And these guys are like family. We all talk, about anything. We tell jokes, share food. My God it's great. I want to stay in this job forever. Never ever want to work in another corporate hell hole again. Independent businesses alllllll the way. Now i dont know if its so cool because it's a small crew or because I'm the only female. I just dont want anything to change.

It's safe to asume it wasn't the first time that happened, because in that case it wouldn't be that much of a deal. Behaviour like that can deplete or straight out endanger productivity. Actually, this film was quite ahead of its time. Some companies still didn’t want to hire women except for waitressing or typing. And more single mothers were coming on the scene because divorce became more prevalent. (Which is another whole story). Companies found that single mothers made good employees because they had to be responsible for the children. My mom was a single mother in the 50s-60s. Having said all that, I think kids need a mom at home, at least some of the time. But I digress.

Your second sentence is complete nonsense and a lie. Move on from the 50's and check out high-paying exclusive jobs like lawyers, psychiatrists (and other specialized doctors), and nowadays even high-paying IT and engineering jobs. The only reason fields like engineering aren't 50:50 nowadays is because most women simply don't care about that kind of stuff and realize themselves in fields like medicine (where they are dominaning almost completely). The reasons why have been researched thoroughly already. Unless you're talking about countries like India or Saudi Arabia, of course, where women in the workforce are still often seen as a problem.

Ha! The United States has to be the most overtly sexist English speaking country in the world. Like all countries that push their dominant religion and commonly use religious language ("Amen"! "Thoughts and prayers"!), it's so incredibly socially conservative. You've never allowed a female to become president, have you, while so many dozens of countries have had female leaders for so long! Australian primary school (elementary school) girls in the early 60s were expected to go on to high school and then to enter university to study the sciences, medicine, law, economics or whatever they wanted for their future careers. I was one of them, from when I was only 11. The backward religious United States was so sexist it was still in the dark ages then and for decades further on. One American woman has told of how even as late as the early 90s her high school teachers discouraged the girls from thinking of further study. It would be a waste, since they'd only get married and have children... 😳 😂 🤣

The first place I worked, was majority women & very few men. I had a few women who flirted with me, but I didn't tell them that I was gay because it was 1979 & I most likely would have been fired just for being gay, so I just let them continue to play their game for no use.

How? It's too real. I know an all woman run and employed company that fell apart for every reason in the video. Absences, resisting change like a Karen, sudden quitting, and women not knowing what they're doing despite resumes saying otherwise. He clearly didn't have a problem in the beginning, but most women doing what he's complaining about made him lose hope. Because... most women do that. It's the rule, there's some exceptions, but it's definitely a majority.

"Well she's a women isn't she" I've seen this line in a video essay about how there was a prejudice against woman in the past. Now I'm aware of the issues women in the past but I feel like using this clip undermines the full videos value. What we are seeing in Brad is not a man who is undermining or ignoring woman. He's a man who is having a hard time to get along with his employees and also doing his best to help them.

I know this is probably going to annoy a lot of people but I think women are better at some jobs and men are better at others. It seems like women do their jobs more precisely but aren’t good at handling situations that are outside of the ordinary or different than what they were trained to do. Men on the other hand are not as precise with the work they perform and are satisfied just as long as the task is completed. However, men seem to handle unforeseen situations better and can adapt to the situation more easily than a woman would be able to.

@Kiera Guest Why do you think we have a problem with women in the military? It's because we've had to work with women in the military. I was naive and pretty liberal when I joined. I went from "They deserve everything a man does!" to "Good God, every single one I've met has been less than worthless - a poor imitation of a below average man." Nearly every male veteran thinks this. You weren't made to be men. Stop trying to be men.

If it was an all man team having an absence problem, quitting with no notice problem, training on the job problem, and resistance to change problem, he would still complain. Issue is: women are generally doing it in job, and getting away with it. Absentees still keep their job, the ones getting trained are getting paid for no real work, and women keep quitting with no proper notice... and still do today. Need proof?
