But after a pair of murders in front of multiple witnesses, a county sheriff succeeds in stopping the vigilante leaders, and the vigilante movement finally collapses.

My Great Uncle was a Direct Descendant of George Washington aka "Warsh" Middleton. He died at Burlington AR, North of Harrison and South of Omaha, AR whilst being Transported by a Bounty Hunter/US Deputy Marshall named Holt, after being Injured in a Shootout down in Newton County. Wash was being Extradited back to Taney County by Mr Holt, for Transport to the Missouri State Penetentiary after escaping the Jail in Forsyth. He was Wounded at Parthenon, and Buried there, but Passed from Wound en Route back to Taney County.
