I live in a town at the south end of lake Champlain, bordered by Fort Ann and Fort Edward. We have Burgoyne Ave, leading to Saratoga Battlefield. I suppose when it's local, you forget how historic it truly is. Worked as a carpenter on the Fort Ticonderoge restoration about 20 years ago. There's no way of forgetting the historic nature of that though.

I live on Lincoln Al which the town was named after, and it's ironic I grew up in fort Wayne Indiana which was another general for Washington in the revolutionary war
