That video isn't a burn in remover. It's to see if you have any burn in. The only way to get rid of burn in is to get a new panel or a new TV.

Thanks for showing the Sony service menu access. First time I see it on KZbin. Is there anything else useful on the service menu? Anything to improve picture quality?

Probably, but I’m not going to mess with it 😂😂

Let me be clear first, I do NOT baby my TVs. With that said, my G3 has started getting a very light burn in center screen visible only on light blue background. My Sony A80J has burn in across the bottom where lower third bars would be visible only on light gray. So OLEDs are for sure susceptible, and I would HIGHLY recommend buying at Best Buy with the 5 year warranty IF you do not want to baby your OLED. With that said, I have a 42" C2 I use as a computer monitor which I do "baby". No icons no task bar. It has 15,347 hours and not a hint of burn in. So my advice is if you watch sports or news, get an LCD. You dont need the contrast of an OLED. If your main viewing is movies, and OLED is great. If you want mixed viewing, I would recommend spending the extra money for a flagship MiniLED. Sports WILL cause burn-in, especially ESPN and Fox Sports.

I’m sorry to hear that. It must be a case by case based. My kids and I watch everything on the A9F and play the Nintendo Switch and no sign of burn in at all.

One thing in curious about is what about games that have a hud on screen? Have you noticed any burn in from things like that? Or other osd displays etc

How many hours per week does this TV get used? And for what?
@mchambliss23 күн бұрын
We spend about 4 hours a day with the girls. On weekends, we leave the TV on for nearly 8 hours, playing whatever is on in the background.

the only way to get burn in these days is pure neglect. I have zero burn in on my Sony A80J or my Bravia 8 or my Dell Alienware QD-OLED Monitor.

Tricky game tonight ... 49'ers at home, and Lions dont have really anything to play for (except perhaps revenge). How much effort they gonna put in 🏈🤔
