Joshua came in lean for this fight, whereas Usyk took the opposite approach. I think this scenario favors Joshua even though Usyk is by far more skillful. We will see if a sheer size and power advantage that is being processed through a training schedule to up Anthony Joshua’s endurance and stamina will defeat a pure boxer whose trainers are allowing Usyk to risk his cardio in order to gain power.

A popular opinion seems to be that if AJ walks forward he can stop Usyk, but what if Usyk walks forward? AJ doesn't have the countering ability Usyk has, and it was Usyk who continually buckled AJ's knees in the first fight, and was damn near stopping him in the final round. My guess is that AJ will try attacking Usyk's body, get countered and rocked, retreat into his defensive boxing and lose another decision.

I hate the way the ring size in pro boxing alters to suit the A-side fighter. In the rematch against Ruiz the ring was as big as possible so AJ could fight on the back foot. Now it’s as small as possible so that AJ can try and catch Usyk. Makes me want Usyk to win even though I’m British and have supported AJ since the Olympics. Ring size should be standardised in pro boxing. If it was up to me, I’d go at the smaller end of what is acceptable as while I like to see fighters box, at the largest size an elusive boxer can pretty much run away.
