Small correction: Izmir has multiple beautiful beaches, there is no beach in city center.
@OlgaProGoingPlaces2 жыл бұрын
Another person already commented on that, but I will repeat. In this video I am talking about Izmir city itself, not the whole province. Cesme and other small towns near Izmir indeed have beautiful beaches, but I was only talking about Izmir city.
@zortlak2 жыл бұрын
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces I really understand what you mean and we all understand it is not negative at all. But just to be informatory, in Turkey people don't have sense of "province". We have cities>districts>neighborhoods; and all districts belong to city itself. When you say "İzmir", Turkish people will think Çeşme, Urla, Foca and all other districts as a whole and not consider it is about the city center. It's just a curtulal thing and it is applicable for any city in Turkey.
@OlgaProGoingPlaces2 жыл бұрын
thanks for the clarification, I did not know about that. it will help me understand Turkish culture better. However this video is in English and meant to be for foreigners visiting Turkey. For example, if somebody told me there are beaches in Izmir, I would think there are beaches in city centre 😊. I heard beaches in Çesme are amazing, hope to visit one day 😊
