You can drink water from the tap in Türkiye. Purified and inspected is healthy. However, the habit of drinking bottled water is generally common.

Given that most of Turkey is in Asia, which is associated with exciting cuisine, the food by comparison is diabolical, mostly processed meat, and salad and bread served with everything.

Smokers are inconsiderate. They disregard the well-being of others, including those with asthma or any other breathing problems. In my opinion, smokers are irresponsible and thoughtless. I am a non-smoker, teetotaler, and vegetarian, and I appreciate a peaceful environment. Animals often surpass humans in their authenticity, loyalty, and capacity for selfless love. 🇮🇳🌷

Paying a year up front for rent is not unusual for foreigners or anyone who has no credit history in the country of residence! İt's the same in any European country and the UK! Inflation as well is rampant everywhere ... some foodstuffs have doubled in price in the UK over a very short period of time. Anything imported in Türkiye is more expensive so buy Turkish!
@OlgaProGoingPlaces8 күн бұрын
no, paying upfront for a year is not usual in Europe and it is against the law

Hi! That was the plan. But the video didn't get many views and I could not take the time for an article if there wasn't much interest in it. First step is to go to the government office where the marriage registration is done and you can ask an administrative assistant there which documents are needed. Congrats on getting married!

Olga, nice video, thanks. I am considering 1st visit of Turkey (standard all in resort) this August. I would prefer some mountains on the horizon and not overcrowded beaches (I know.. August can be problematic). I saw some video on Kemer and the beaches quality was pretty variable - from small pebble stones to bigger stones. What types of beaches are prevailing in Kemer area? Thanks.
@OlgaProGoingPlaces12 күн бұрын
I can't really tell anything more about the beaches other than shown in the video :) By now the trip was almost 2 years ago. In Antalya/Konyaalti it's mostly medium to big pebbles. Have a good holiday!

When so many extra people comes and resides in the country the prices gone crazy because of high demand. Fot example 10 locals were eating eggs when 4 new arrivals in the city they also wanted to eat eggs. So the farmer has only 10 eggs in his inventory he needed to raise the egg price to give who can pay it the most. Now the locals can not pay rents, can not shop even their basic needs because so many people came in to country willing to pay more and skyrocketed the demand after covid&war. İt needed to be stopped after some time. At least for the big cities. Some neighborhoods are under invasion of aliens, locals needed to leave their neighbourhoods, their neighbours, their lifestyle, their memories because they can not afford their lives anymore.
@OlgaProGoingPlaces18 күн бұрын
Yes, that was the main reasoning for inflation a couple years ago. But now it's impossible to get the residency and most of the foreigners left. We recently visited Antalya for a holiday and the prices did not get lower, they skyrocketed even more, in euro they are almost double. Can't imagine how hard it must be for the locals. But it's obvious now that the high demand from foreigners wasn't the reason for inflation. We loved living in Türkiye and still hope things will get better.
