Second Like, another perfect day out. I am really going to have to visit Portugal one day, you have showed us so much beauty of this country. I love those cobbled streets. Those Sandy Beaches are beautiful. Nice Polo Top Norm. Those colours in the cliffs are amazing too. Those flowerGreat view from the top of the cliffs and from the balcony. That magnificent flower hedge is called a Flame Vine Thank you for another episode Tina and Norm.

Good Morning Joseph and Peter, yes you should come to Portugal! It's beautiful and a laid back culture! I've just about worn out that polo shirt it has been a favourite (Tommy Hilfiger). Thanks so much for the naming of the Flame Vine, we are not that good with remembering flower names, interesting that it originates from Brazil another Portuguese speaking country and close ties to Portugal, the hedge was very beautiful. Also I forgot to mention the orange flowers are called "flores de São João" ✨ As a tribute to John Baptist who was born in June, on his birth date in the summertime in Portugal there's a festival from 23 to 24 called "São João" to remember John Baptist but also to give thanks for good crops and to share happy times with family. Also back in the pagan days there used to be a festival around June but it was dedicated to the sun, it was in June and also it was a way to give thanks for good crops. It was a tribute to the sun because luckly it remain shining even during winter time which made it possible for crops to become abundant in the spring making in it possible for people to stay alive in the summertime ☺️🙏

I really enjoyed your short video, brings back wonderful memories of our visit, it really is beautiful and quaint, it was nice seeing the familiar walk down to the beach. When we visited there were quite a few shops and restaurants along the way, and typical café bars too to have an afternoon snack and a beverage. 2023 had a wonderful relaxing 10 day holiday in the town if it's relaxation you are after highly recommend it the walk along the beach to vilamoura is a must if your fitness allows walking 6 km through sand can be rather taxing but well worth it I have never enjoyed a few beers so much at the end of it hit the first bar we found in the marina which is well worth a visit hopefully I will be fortunate enough to visit olhos de agua again soon but back to carvoeiro again this year which is my happy place love the Algarve and it's beautiful people

We are happy to see you guys are having such nice weather, and so cool to see the trees that are growing off the side of the cliff!! The views of the ocean and beach are so pretty, and you have to love the rock formations.. So unique! We like to travel during the off season as well, better prices and less traffic and people to deal with. Feels like a private vacation during off season! Great video! Me and my family and grandparents have been going to the same area for about 20 years 😂 about time for a change if I’m honest but that’s not up to me. I know what you mean by the steep hill, we normally rent out a nice little villa at the top of the hill next to the steps down to the beach, had a phew accidents going up and down there over the years 😅 it certainly is a workout going back up after a nice night out! Hopefully going again in a couple weeks, and yet again another great video, thanks!

Beautiful little town. The beach and cliffs are gorgeous. Interesting that springs of fresh water springs pop up on the beach at low tide. Cool that the name of the town translates to Eyes of Water. Apart from Tina murdering the pronunciations a very enjoyable vid, the last time I visited Olhos de Agua it was basically closed with barely anything open October I think, looks like you were very lucky with the weather I can tell you from personal experience as I often visit out of season that it can be quite wet and cold if you are unlucky.

Hi Norm and Tina, love all your videos. You have visited many beautiful areas in the Algarve. If you decided to move to the Algarve what would be your top 3 cities? Would you both agree on the cities or have different favorites? Keep traveling!!

Thanks for watching our videos and making a nice comment, we would seriously look at Cascais on the coast near Lisbon. The Algarve is great and you can see we travel there in winter. The Algarve has two identities summer and winter, summer is hectic with lots of visitors and traffic problems and very hot weather. Winter is quite with a great climate, not to hot not too cold and a little rain to freshen things up. Also look at Coimbra as there are a few expats living there. If it is The Algarve we like Tavira, Lagos and Alvor. Just be careful about how hilly a place is, Albufeira is too hilly for us. Best of luck, let us know how things work for you.

Thank you Tina and Norm I do want to avoid an area that we have to walk downstairs. I haven’t looked too much into Cascais. I have been reading and watching KZbin videos on the Silver Coast and the Algarve and of course all your videos which are great. We are from NY and having a mild winter will be great. I will be turning 60 in February and the magic number for me is 62. Hopefully we travel next year to get a feel for the country and the Silver Coast and the Algarve, it will be our first time in Portugal. Have you traveled to the East Algarve close to the border of Spain where you can take a ferry? The temperature of the water suppose to be warmer and it’s on the Rio Formosa. I’m a bird photographer and interested in an area where the birds migrate in Spring and Fall. Where are you planning your next trip after Covid? Cheers
