Bonjour Serge, Thank you for your support and nice comment. The little secret is if we have microphone problems I will add some music! I have hours of footage with no talking from our travels before we started on KZbin, but have not used this footage because the feedback get from viewers is they like the interaction between Tina and myself. We are hoping to get back to Portugal next winter, but life is very unpredictable at the moment, so we are not planning anything yet. We hope you and Helene are keeping well and not getting cabin fever 😂Have a great weekend, it's raining here today.

I usually stay at the Prainha Village Alvor and can recommend it. The hotel is nice but the apartments are quieter and so spacious. Can't wait to get back there. Have a great day. Stay safe. It would be lovely to be in the Algarve right now, we are having cold wet weather, so we get a lot out of watching our own Algarve videos lol We have friends who go to Alvor every year, they love it there and can get the famous €1 beer 🍻🍺🍻 We should stay somewhere else in future, we only chose Albufeira because of it’s central location but a smaller town would be better. Maybe we will try Alvor or Lagos. Like you we miss being there and hope all will reopen and we can visit again next year. Stay safe and well Carol and let’s dream of The Algarve 😎😎🇵🇹

Hi Again from sunny Ireland Angie and Norm. I've been to all those beautiful resorts and villages. So nice to see a resume of the main areas of the lovely Algarve. I miss not having got there this year and the advice from government here in Ireland is to limit all unnecessary foreign travel.So I imagine I won't be experiencing Portugal again till wintertime at the very least.Sad! Good Morning To The Cutest Couple on #KZbin 🔆 what a beautiful #viewofquarteira the first resort town 🌊 Those apartments are so cute. The shipping sea looks so peaceful and relaxing. 💨 WOW! Those chemtrails!!! Olhos de Agua beach is so charming. Nice cliffs, the sea, the sand. Everything is perfect! Oh My! That view is gorgeous! 🛅 #Armacaodepera seems like the place to be. No hills, flatlands, nice scenery! Jackpot! 🛅 Beautiful walkway! It looks so scary but beautiful at the same time. Carvoeiro.... Just Lovely! 🛅 All those Irish 🍀 Bars and that was the third one. Another one? 4 so far. Alvor is just gorgeous. Everything is tightly fit. 🛅 You two are getting your travel on!! We love it! This was lovely from beginning to end. Such beauty! Just thinking about travelling amongst the towns between Tavira and Lagos gives me goose bumps 😊 “The Algarve” just sounds inviting. Beautiful places along the coast, warm looking beaches. Love these parts of Portugal they are beautiful and especially the sandy beaches. Love the white convent. Santa Maria Church is gorgeous as is the fort. The Cafe strip and square is a perfect place for a coffee and cake lol. Blues skies and perfect weather. You are probably wishing you were there now. Hi Martin, Thanks for a great comment, to address your question on hotel v apartment, having done both we would opt for apartments over hotel for a longer stay of a month or more. We thought early in the season February and March we would have social interactions with fellow guests at the hotel, that didn’t happen as there were so few guests, maybe a different hotel would be better, we have heard hotels in Alvor are busier. The apartments are better equipped for cooking, larger fridge and ovens and no daily housekeeping, we like to just hang out sometimes and not have to rush out because housekeeping wants to make up the room, we don’t mind making our own bed lol. I just discovered your channel and love the information you are providing! This is the 4th one I’ve watched in one sitting! I started with recent ones but wanted to go back a couple of years. We are also Canadians and looking seriously at spending a couple of months in Costa del Sol or the Algarve. You are pretty well answering all of our questions! We are strongly leaning towards the Algarve! I’ve been to Albufeira for 3 days last September but had no idea the Algarve has so many more areas to discover! Hi Norm and Tina, long time subscriber :) here. Thank you for sharing your experiences.not on;y for travelling, but for retirement in general. This year my wife and I are going to Portugal (Edmonton-Lisbon-Porto-Algarve-Lisbon) in October-November. First time going to the Algarve, the plan is to be there for a week. I have a question for you, do you recommend to stay in one particular city (town) and move from there? for example Albufeira? Faro? Based on your experience, do I need to rent a car? Sorry if I am asking too many questions! Thank you!

What we can suggest Julius is what we did first time going to the Algarve, we rented a car 🚗 and stayed in Albufeira so we were in the middle and did day trips to all the other places . Since then we have discovered Tavira which is lovely and nearer to Spain 🇪🇸, sorry to tell you that you can’t enjoy all The Algarve in a week we were there 3 weeks , can you change your schedule and be there two weeks hope that helps 🇨🇦🍻🍷🇵🇹🌺

We used a local company we too used our credit card 💳 but then found out the insurance on it could be a problem, so in future if we rent we will take out their car insurance for peace of mind 🚗 🙂
