This is the scene that makes the fanboys whine. Felicity was completely right. The ends can't justify the means. Working with Malcolm was clearly a regression in his journey to become a superhero. Oliver just forgot that he had partners. He went in bed with the devil. Malcolm (the opportunist who only cares about himself) was using him to remove the threat Ra's put on his head. He lets this murderer of Sara (who used his baby sister Thea to kill Sara, his former girlfriend) manipulate him.

@lilyjames15704 жыл бұрын
Yes he is right to work with malcolm...i dont like heroes to take stupid decisions to be just good sometimes we need to be smart and that whats oliver is doing but in the episodes before this he should have killed malcolm ...if he had eliminate him earlier ..he didnt have to make this types of choices and risk and upset his team so according to me felicity is also right that she dont want to be the woman he love because he just let malcolm get away after what he had done...no revenge and justice for sara and thea and 503 people? He just let malcolm get away because of his stupid oath being a good hero ...knowing that malcolm will being more disasters. I want a hero who knows what to do unlike oliver but now he make the situation dangerous by himself so he should now make smart choices but felicity is right at her place but if oliver explain to her in detail that he need to use malcolm and its important to be the enemy student and blah blah blah so i bet she will understand but lack of words explanation and conversation from oliver is getting on my nerves
@tonyspaniol19664 жыл бұрын
RadolfC7 nope. He’s just being smart and gathering valuable intel to try and get any advantage he can over Ra’s. He is trying to take his feelings/emotions towards Malcom out of the equation for now to focus on the problem at hand...something other characters aren’t capable of doing at the moment.
@andrewincontrera31284 жыл бұрын
You aren’t the only one. While felicity has a right to feel the way she feels...it’s not her life the pressure isn’t on her. She doesn’t have to fight. She doesn’t know what he has to channel in order to fight evil. Felicity worshipers are like she was totally right...not that simple. At all. Period. Merlin, while a monster Oliver wants to put down, has critical knowledge Oliver needs. And “letting us think you were dead for weeks”...oh yea while I was crippled in a freaking mountain they had WiFi and cell phones and 5g everywhere...that was a stupid line. I understand why she was upset. I didn’t love the idea of Oliver working with Maicon, but at times, the ends justify the means. Especially if you want people to live.

Oliver has the right idea training with someone who has trained with Ras but he’s literally training with the man who: Cheated on his wife with his own mother and had a child with her Killed his father (indirectly) Sentenced him to 5 years in hell Killed 503 innocent people Manipulated and used his mother Manipulated his sister, his own daughter and put her in danger to get rid of his bounty and used her to kill one of his best freinds/girlfriend And the biggest of all killed his own son And people say Felicity had no right to be angry here. Don’t get me wrong I don’t like Felicity but still she was absolutely right about Malcom
@jasonmoukala8909 Жыл бұрын

Oliver was right in learning from Malcom and Ra's was alive so it wouldn't have been easy well actually, he would've died without any training. Not to mention he was trying to do Thea a favor by basically taking up the sword for her. Ra's had taken an interest in Oliver hell he even gave his daughter up as a wife for the dude so he can rule after him. And not to mention if it wasn't him, they would've probably gone to someone else. They literally almost laid siege to Starling. So yeah, not many options with how Malcom manipulated the situation to his benefit which spiraled out of control. Felicity could've waited a few days since everyone at that moment had basically been scattered. Felicity's character goes a bit downhill over the seasons.

Bro just came back from the dead and she’s already causing drama. I don’t mind their relationship but the writers always found really stupid ways to get them to argue. They turned felicity from the level headed computer specialist to a very Whiney and dramatic love interest. Nothing against EBR but the writers did her character dirty

This is the scene that the Felicity character lost my total support....He just came back from the dead, gets a heartfelt hug, then gets chewed out and left?! This showcases a fundamental difference between the two of them...Oliver is generally better at seeing the bigger picture view of things and the end goal and being able to set his personal feelings aside for the greater good, while Felicity is more live in the moment and be led by your feelings for your own personal satisfaction and happiness. These two need to find some middle ground if a relationship is going to work, but not sure that would work best for the show imho.

@@tonyspaniol1966 Her love for him is true and deep. This one scene isn't enough to doubt that. After everything that's been going on, Oliver shouldn't have just expected everything to be all sunshine and rainbows and apparently, you shouldn't have either

And the scene when oliver let malcolm get away after every thing he had done has lost my total support from oliver character . It is a smart decision to work with malcolm for now and he is right ..i support him in this but if he had let nissa killed malcolm ..they didnt have to face these consequences...he risked almost everyone..so yeah felicity is also right at her place coz you dont want to be a woman whose lover take her death so cool and let the murderer get away. And if he had used proper words and explain in detail his reasons to work with malcolm so i know feliecity would understand....that i need to use malcolm to get to ras coz only a students can defeat the master and blah blah blah and should make a promise to avenge sara death. And felicity is just a normal girl so yeah normal people like us mostly take decisions based on our feelings unlike oliver coz he had suffered so he knows to take hard decision. But oliver need to do whats needed to be done by killing malcolm or let him be killed by nyssa..its okay that he didnt break his oath to not to kill again but protecting malcolm..a murderer who killed your loved one or 503 people is ...stupid
