I just watched this and your factory tour, and those were some of the absolute best videos I have ever seen. I love olight and the products they produce. Such a cool video!

Nice video Marshall, thanks. You can see the blue colour everywhere in their building and their bezel.

Thanks for sharing this! My M1X just slipped from my belt last night and fell onto a marble floor striker first. At least now I know the M1X can handle that kind of impact (unlike the ones I had before). It did more damage to the floor I guess.

They need to test better. I have had 3 plights the 2 s10r's and a s1 r baton and all 3 have switch issues almost immediately.

Great video! I love the olight products! This video brings to mind something I've wondered about my S30R Javelot since I purchased it, the high and turbo modes appear to be the same. At 400 and 900 lumens respectively, that's a large gap to appear the same. I carry this light every day and love it, however I have been curious about this, is this a malfunction that could cause problems later, or just a glitch? As a note, both modes appear to be at the 900 lumen level compared to other lights I own, so it's not like I'm not getting full performance from the light, just missing one level.

Going Gear sometimes I think I can tell a difference, slightly, but definitely not a 500 lumen difference. Full charge, half charge, no difference. It is the battery that came with it also. It's a great light, no complaints, just curious. Thanks!

That is because of candela and intensity of the light you should check out a video about that it’s very interesting stuff how a beam pattern affects brightness and throw

The drop tank is a little ghetto compared to the rest of their equipment. Why not a magnet on the outside to move a tray up and down?
@gianpaolobernardo24737 жыл бұрын
Having that would probably increase the cost of testing, which would increase the price of their lights. It does the job anyway, and it's good to know that their lights can handle the immersion.

Super cool! Just another day "at the office" for those guys I guess. I assume that "tumbling" machine proves if your light ever ends up in the drier... we know it can withstand both heat AND abuse!! :-)

Why is it hot inside the building? Don't they have AC? That is a massive integrating sphere, I have never seen one so large... I wish ALL light manufacturers would test with one, especially pro lighting companies, that make lights for movie and TV, so they can give us lumen output instead of tungsten equivalents!

Looking forward to the day Olight offers a rugged line, with outstanding driver efficiency, potted electronics, and tough TIR lenses. Step aside Fenix, Nitecore, and don't even bother, Armytek. Catch up or eat Olight's dust!
