FYI Guys you put the Warrior Mini in TACTICAL MODE by holding down the tailcap button and tapping the side button once. Then it will go into Turbo mode on half press and Strobe on full press of the tail switch. - Olight Jarrod.

I own Olight, Streamlight, Surefire, Fenix, and cheap Amazon lights, but with that being said and being honest IMO I still think that Fenix is the best light for durability, reliability, power, and price. Don't get me wrong these other lights are great lights and worth buying, but in the end, I only carry Fenix and trust them the most. Thanks for another great vid sootch!!!

All I see is people bashing on olight but I love mine. I’ve got a bunch of their lights now and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Great video as always! I just got my warrior mini in FDE and obulb yesterday. Awesome edc light. A little bigger than the i5T eos I’ve been using but an astronomical improvement in performance

A great feature not mentioned is thatyou can lock out the light preventing accidental turning on. Hold the side button down for like 5 seconds to lock and unlock

I owned the SR2R Baton II first, and if you also have, keep in mind this light has a warmer color temperature than the SR2R Baton II. To me, I prefer a whiter color but thats just preference, this thing produces plenty of light. Turbo mode causes the lens area to heat up more so than the SR2R Baton II. And even though this comes with a 3500 mah batt. the SR2R Baton II with its 3200 mah batt. is more efficient...imo. Also because of the tailswitch design, the magnet doesn't hold as well as the SR2R Baton II but you can still get by with it. Just posting this because those 2 lights will probably be compared more

I like the reviews but no one seems to mention the batter level light on the switch. I guess we’ll just have to figure it out if we loose the instructions. I’m sure everyone knows what red means. But once it turns orange then red, how much battery power is left

For those that just want “just as good” but know it’s really junk.

Wish the tail cap switch was 500 to 1500. Then the smaller button for all the low modes. That would make it perfect in my opinion

Hey Sootch00! There’s an actual “TACTICAL MODE” for the Warrior Mini. You might want to update your vid! 😬 The tactical mode makes it so that a half press on the tail switch (which is momentary only) is Turbo 1500L and a full press on the tail cap is strobe. Also, when in tactical mode, the side switch will act in normal mode with constant on and all of the step ups in brightness! Thought you’d want to know! 😊👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The newly released Fenix e28r is just as tiny, and uses the same battery. Has more throw and spill than the warrior mini. They have similar runtime, but Fenix never drops lumens that far down like Olight. The warrior mini has a tail light and magnet, features the Fenix doesn’t have. Fenix performance is superior being brighter, more throw and spill, and won’t drop so far down on turbo or high as the warrior mini. If the tail switch and magnet is important to you stick with Olight.

Thanks for the reviews. Just reviewed this on their web site, not my favorite light, don’t get me wrong, it’s bright and has some great advantages, but until I can get a hard plastic case for it, I’m keeping it out of my pocket. I’m not a fan of having to keep a light “locked out” where I have to search for a small little button to press to unlock it when I might need it quickly. Unfortunately while I was seated and it was in my pocket it turned on and burned a hole in my shirt and got my side as well. I can’t wait for all the fan boys to say things which I know they will, but others out there should know that the light head end of this gets VERY hot and can burn you. Also something to make sure you keep away from kids as well. Side note, if you are in a physical confrontation with someone and you can get it in your hand and turned on, then it would work to discourage them by the heat. In any case, thanks for your reviews. in the future, can you use a non contact thermometer to show the temp of the lights? New addition Jan 2, 2021, Olight sent out an e-mail and seems to be doing a recall on these. Giving the option to send it back for a full refund due to the heat issue. Mine will be going back and I’ll wait for the next generation where the issues have been fixed.

I want to like a lot of olight products, but the side switch kills it for me. I had a mini, but it kept activating in my pocket and I’d find it dead. Locking the switch takes way too long for the amount of times a day I use my light. I’ll stick with streamlight till they loose that side switch.

Batteries last less than a year I have two that will not charge any more. Was a good light but did not last long. For the money.

I've had original batteries in many Olights that have lasted for 5 years. If you're using them everyday constantly, it will drain them but regular use it should hold up. That's just my experience.

*IF* you leave any lithium ion battery discharged below 2.5 volts, it will ruin the battery fairly quickly....and reasonable amount of time and the battery is will not take a charge due to the formation of crystals in the internal separator film that prevents the positive and negative to connect and create a dead short.

Enes Kemal the Fenix e28r is a very tiny flashlight with the same battery, released a week ago. And it is brighter. You get solid throw and a spill that is actually bright.

After owning, caring, & using the Warrior mini, No, it’s not worth it. I’ll stick to the S1R II as my EDC work light. My evening light is the M1T Raider Plus and weekend light is the Baton Pro. With these light I do Not see the need for the Warrior Mini and I gave mine away. I don’t like that it Needs to be locked out when carrying lens up or it turns on in your pocket. The heat buildup is what alerts you that it’s on. I’ll be waiting on the revised version, like Apple _S series, or Warrior Mini-Pro.
