Thank you so very much for this comparison video...excellent! Had I not seen it before purchasing I probably would have ordered the smaller one for travel only, but the M3 I intend to use regularly at home for pressing baby and children garments that are difficult to press with a full size iron. Thank you!

You are so welcome! I use the M3 all the time. I recently made dresses for our granddaughters and the mini iron came in really handy!

Thank you for this review of these 2 irons. I need to replace mine so now I have a great idea of the features and what to purchase. TY

Does the M3 pro handle heat up like the M2? My M2 handle gets very hot so I can’t turn up the temp all the way. Thank you. Elizabeth

No, it does not! I know exactly what you're talking about and this does not happen with the M3Pro. It is a major improvement over the M2!

I wish the cord was interchangeable - us leftys would probably like that power cord on the left side! Just saying!
@hibisco3456 ай бұрын
On their website, Oliso responded to a comment and said there is a way to switch the cord side. I couldn't find anything via Google but maybe if you email them, they can provide instructions.

Is the light always on? Thank you
@hooked-on-sewing6 ай бұрын
The light shuts off when you stand the iron vertically. It comes on automatically when you place the iron in a horizontal position.

I wanted information about the auto shutoff. I would like an iron that doesn’t shut down so frequently.
@hooked-on-sewing6 ай бұрын
Here’s the official information on the Pro-Auto-Off: 30-minute on-heel and 10-minute horizontal stand-by for convenience and 30-second safety shut-off if tipped over.

I bought a Pro 1600 about a year and a half ago. The first one I got they had to replace because it just leaked all the water out as I was filling it, they sent me a new one and this one is leaking so I am not impressed with this brand.
@hooked-on-sewing6 ай бұрын
Leakage is a problem with a lot of irons and I had that experience with the M2. I have not had a leakage problem with the full size or the new M3.

I reached out to Oliso yesterday because I happened to notice the M3Pro Project Iron is pretty much out of stock everywhere. They said the sales and response have been much more positive than they expected and are temporarily out of stock. Should replenish by June or July. Having said that, they are typically available online from sources like Amazon and JOANN. Some fabric shops carry the iron as well. You may even be able to find it in retail stores like Kohl's or Walmart. Good luck!!

I have the m2 and I just hate it, I was expecting great things, but it is awful to use so I don’t and I can’t throw it out because it cost so much
@hooked-on-sewing6 ай бұрын
I had the same “wanted to love it but didn’t”. However, the M3Pro is a totally different iron. I do really like it!

How does one sign up to do reviews?

I don't know that there is a sign-up. I reached out to Oliso and someone from their marketing department responded. Hope this helps!

Directions states use tap water not distilled, and stiff table nothing padded, and works 3 minutes then shuts down. My mini iron died after Three months. Company hopefully replacing it. Don’t buy it! And the handle doesn’t allow for a good hand grip

Are you talking about the M2 or M3. I definitely found that to be true with the M2 iron but not the M3
