I'd like to give you an example here. All of us very well know what happened to hardik pandya in that coffee with karan episode. So here we can compare hardik to a candidate and karan to an IO. Let me tell you why is that, it is because you cannot tell someone EVERYTHING you do. There has to be certain tact( although this does not perfectly mean what i want to convey) in your answer. That's all!

@@swarajbane9785 thats a tv show where millions of people are watching u...there needs to be a decorum and respect for national media... In ssb IO will have a convrstn with u in private.. Both situations are not comparable Moreovr wat hardik pandya did was objectifing women which is wrong...whereas if i have a girlfrnd i am going to admit it freely ,proudly Rest smoking and drinking is my choice and i assure it will not effect my work

If you speak convincingly about anything you will be able to satisfy the IO. He may not probe you any further and will move on.

Call her a friend who is a girl rather than being involved with her in a committed relationship, because it's too early for you or her to know who is the right person with whom you would want to spend the rest of your life with. Besides, such emotional attachments always make us weak and serve as distraction and can adversely affect our focus.

Is SSB for TA same as regular army SSB?

Yes, the SSB is exactly similar. The objective of SSB is to identify leadership potential and suitability of the candidate for life in the armed forces which broadly remains constant for all types of entries including TA.
